Artist Bui Tien Tuan and designer Quach Thai Cong meet in "Silk" at Thai Cong Art Gallery (66-68 Hai Ba Trung Street, Saigon Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

This exhibition, curated by designer Quách Thái Công, runs from now until December 11th.

This also marks the first time that artist Bui Tien Tuan – closely associated with contemporary silk painting – has collaborated with interior designer Quach Thai Cong on an art project.

These two artists come from different fields but share a common "aesthetic frequency," seeking a harmonious blend between the beauty of art and the beauty of life.

“After my 11th solo exhibition, I planned to take a break to work in a group. But when Mr. Thai Cong invited me to open his new space, I knew this was a wonderful opportunity,” shared artist Bui Tien Tuan.

The exhibition showcases new works along with representative paintings from the following series: The Red Thread, Frivolity, Female Essence, Moonlight Reflected in the Mirror … The paintings evoke the inner world of women – soft yet strong, fragile yet resilient, just like the spirit of silk itself.

With soft pastel colors, bluish-purple, faded pink, and silvery gray, along with graceful lines, Bui Tien Tuan's paintings evoke a sense of breath and stillness, allowing viewers to feel the beauty melting in the light.

The presence of Thai Cong Art Gallery not only adds a space for art appreciation to the art market in Ho Chi Minh City, but also aims to enhance community aesthetics, with the vision of "bringing art into life".

With this "Silk" exhibition, both Bui Tien Tuan and Quach Thai Cong open up a new way of storytelling through light and emotion - where art no longer stands still on the wall, but becomes a vibrant part of space and soul.
