Painter Bui Tien Tuan and designer Quach Thai Cong met in “Silk” at Thai Cong Art Gallery (66-68 Hai Ba Trung Street, Saigon Ward, HCMC).
This exhibition is curated by designer Quach Thai Cong and runs from now until December 11.
This is also the first time that artist Bui Tien Tuan - who is associated with contemporary silk paintings - has collaborated with interior designer Quach Thai Cong on an art project.
Two artists come from two different fields but share the same "aesthetic frequency", both seeking the harmony between the beauty of art and the beauty of life.
“After my 11th solo exhibition, I planned to take a break to work with a group. But when Mr. Thai Cong invited me to open a new space, I knew this was a beautiful opportunity,” artist Bui Tien Tuan shared.

The exhibition introduces new works and representative paintings in the series: Red Thread, Vanity, Female Being, Bright Mirror of the Moon … The paintings evoke the inner world of women - soft yet strong, fragile yet durable, like the spirit of silk.
With soft pastel colors, purple-blue, faded pink, silver gray and graceful lines, Bui Tien Tuan's paintings evoke a painting of breath and silence, making viewers feel the beauty melting in the light.

The presence of Thai Cong Art Gallery not only adds more space for art appreciation to the art market in Ho Chi Minh City, but also aims to enhance community aesthetics, with the vision of "bringing art into life".

With this exhibition “Silk”, both Bui Tien Tuan and Quach Thai Cong open up a new way of storytelling with light and emotion - where art no longer stands still on the wall, but becomes a living part of space and soul.
