Two prestigious awards recognize SeABank's efforts to put people first

Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank, HOSE: SSB) has just been honored with two awards: Vietnam's Best Workplace 2025 (Anphabe) and ESG Business Awards 2025 (ESG Business Magazine - Asian Banking & Finance). This is a double milestone in the Bank's journey to create a happy, equal and empowering working environment for women, in line with the vision of "putting people and community first" that SeABank has always persistently strived for.

Accordingly, the continuous investment in human resource development, building competitive remuneration policies and a cohesive corporate culture has helped SeABank lead the banking industry (medium-sized enterprises) and rank 61/100 best workplaces (medium-sized enterprises) in Anphabe's annual ranking of Vietnam's Best Places To Work 2025 - based on an independent survey of more than 73,000 respondents at more than 650 businesses.

In parallel, with its pioneering role in committing to promoting gender equality, building a fair working and business environment, empowering female employees, female customers and female business owners, SeABank is one of three Vietnamese representatives participating in the ESG Business Awards 2025 and is the only financial and banking institution to win the Gender Equality & Women Empowerment Award – Vietnam. The award is organized by Asia's leading financial magazines - ESG Business and Asian Banking & Finance to honor pioneering businesses shaping a sustainable future, based on criteria of innovation, efficiency, social impact and practical applicability in the field of Environment - Society - Governance (ESG).

Being honored at two prestigious domestic and international awards not only affirms SeABank's position on the journey of sustainable development, but also motivates the Bank to continue promoting humanitarian initiatives, improving the quality of the working environment, and implementing many comprehensive financial solutions to create an equal and prosperous society.

Committed to “putting people and community first”

Identifying people as the core of development, SeABank builds a respectful, humane, and equal working environment with a transparent human resource policy system, competitive remuneration, and a clear development roadmap according to the standardized consultancy of international human resource consulting partner Mercer - Talentnet. In particular, the Bank focuses on maximizing the capacity of employees and encouraging women to participate in management positions, achieving gender balance at all management levels with 48% of managers being women; the proportion of women holding senior management roles (level 1) and Board of Directors members is 51% and 50% respectively.

Aiming to become a leading bank in organizational culture , SeABank's corporate culture is developed in a cohesive and humane direction. Internal engagement programs are implemented in a variety of ways, from sports events, online minigames, competitions for employees and their families, holiday gifts, interactive activities on internal channels... to create cohesion and build a united collective. Thanks to creating and maintaining an ideal working environment, the rate of employees satisfied when working at the Bank reached 90.37% and 90.5% planned to continue working for at least the next 2 years.

A typical example is the SeAWomen product for members of the Vietnam Women's Union - unsecured loans up to 100 million VND, 48-month term, streamlined procedures, free early repayment. The product attracts more than 21,000 customers and has an outstanding debt of 1,087 billion VND by the end of 2024. In parallel, there are many specialized financial solutions for female-owned businesses such as: unsecured overdrafts up to 5 billion VND, unsecured Visa Corporate cards up to 200 million VND and preferential credit policies, supporting quick and flexible access to capital. In particular, the SeAPower Women Entrepreneurs Club provides a comprehensive ecosystem of training, connection, digital transformation and healthcare, contributing to increasing the number of female customers at SeABank by 140% and outstanding loans by 115% by the end of June 2025.
