
Tay Tra commune has an area of over 170km2. Ethnic minorities account for nearly 96%. In 2025, the total production value is estimated to reach 170 billion VND. Of which, agriculture reaches nearly 90 billion VND; industry - construction reaches 71 billion VND; trade - services reach 8.6 billion VND. National target programs in the area have been effectively implemented. The commune has effectively implemented the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area and in 2025, the total number of houses built is 482/484.

Social security policies are implemented synchronously and effectively, contributing to improving infrastructure and sustainable poverty reduction. Cultural and social work has made much progress; education , health care, and social security policies have received attention; national defense and security have been maintained. Administrative reform has had positive changes.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien shared the difficulties and damages that Tay Tra commune has faced due to recent floods. Many traffic, irrigation and essential infrastructure works were severely damaged.
To effectively carry out the political tasks in the coming time, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the locality to have a plan and requested the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee and the Department of Home Affairs to add competent and responsible cadres to work in the locality. Prioritize human resources with professional qualifications in agriculture and forestry to support people in economic development and sustainable poverty reduction. Focus on medical work and primary health care for people; carry out education and training well.

Urgently repair landslide-affected roads to ensure safe travel for people in the area. The commune coordinates with departments and branches to survey and assess areas at risk of landslides, promptly advise on the development of a project to relocate residential areas out of dangerous areas. Continue to do a good job of mobilizing people to change the structure of crops and livestock, helping to improve income sources.
The Provincial Party Secretary requested the relevant agencies to include the road to Tra Oi and the road to Dong village, which are currently deteriorating, in the list of urgent projects for investment so that 180 households can escape isolation during heavy rains. The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee urgently reviewed and promptly arranged funds to help households affected by natural disasters.
Urgently support people to overcome the consequences of storms and floods. In particular, the repair support must be completed before December 31, 2025 and the construction of new houses must be completed before January 31, 2026 so that people can celebrate Tet in their new homes.
