Preparatory session of the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Vinh Long Province

On the evening of December 5, to practically welcome the 1st Congress of Women's Delegates of Vinh Long province, term 2025-2030, the Provincial Women's Union organized the opening of the Exhibition Space, introduced women's start-up products and signed an agreement to accompany women in start-up and green transformation.

Attending the opening ceremony were Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Vice President of the Vietnam Women's Union; Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Ms. Le Thi Thuy Kieu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Committee for Gender Equality and Advancement of Women; Ms. Nguyen Quynh Thien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee; and other leaders and female cadres of different periods.

The space for displaying and introducing women's start-up products is located at the headquarters of the Provincial Women's Union with a display scale of over 1,200 local specialty products, OCOP products including processed foods, handicrafts, agricultural products, handmade household items...

This is a connecting point for creative startup ideas; a place to honor products owned by women, produced safely, environmentally friendly, meeting the trend of green transformation, digital transformation and sustainable development. At the same time, opening more trading channels, livestreaming to sell products to promote brands, introduce products; helping Vinh Long women's products get closer to consumers inside and outside the province.

Units signed a contract to support women in sustainable business start-ups.

Through this activity, the Provincial Women's Union hopes to continue spreading the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in the women's community; encourage women to boldly start businesses, develop enterprises, gradually increase income, and develop family economy . At the same time, create a lively and meaningful space for women to visit, exchange, connect and spread the image and role of Vinh Long women in socio-economic development.

At the ceremony, the provincial leaders performed the opening ceremony of the Exhibition Space, introducing women's start-up products. The accompanying units signed a commitment with the Provincial Women's Union to carry out the tasks of accompanying and supporting women to participate in sustainable start-ups, contributing to the implementation of the Resolution of the Provincial Women's Congress for the term 2025 - 2030. The signing units include: Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, Khai Minh Agape Group Company and Provincial Women's Union.
