Vinh Long Newspaper, Radio and Television won the B Prize of the National Press Award on Agriculture, Farmers and Rural Areas.

On the evening of December 5, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union coordinated with the Vietnam Journalists' Association, Nong thon Ngay nay/Dan Viet Newspaper, and the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) to organize the awarding ceremony of the 3rd National Press Award on Agriculture, Farmers, and Rural Areas of Vietnam - 2025 and the Writing Contest to learn about the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Farmers' Union's establishment and growth (1930-2025).

Comrade Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly , Comrade Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission awarded the B prize to the authors.

Attending the event were comrades: Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Le Minh Hoan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the National Assembly; Luong Quoc Doan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union; Le Quoc Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, comrades representing leaders of socio-political organizations, Central Committees, Ministries, branches and localities.

This is the third time the National Press Award on Agriculture, Farmers and Rural Areas of Vietnam has been held, with 4 categories: print, electronic, radio and television. This year, nearly 1,900 works from hundreds of press agencies nationwide participated in the award and more than 480 writing entries exploring the 95-year tradition of the Vietnam Farmers' Association.

Comrade Luong Quoc Doan said: Most of the works have closely followed the breath of life, the transformation of the country to enter a new era, well demonstrating the role of "policy communication", contributing to the country's socio-economic growth target at a high level and reaching the double-digit mark in the coming years.

Through a serious and fair review and selection process, the final jury selected 45 best works to award prizes, including: 3 A prizes, 6 B prizes, 9 C prizes, 15 consolation prizes, and 12 special prizes.

In the television - radio category, Vinh Long Newspaper and Radio and Television won second prize with the work: "Mekong Delta - 50 years reaching out to the ocean" by the group of authors Nguyen Kim Phung, Huynh Duy Thien, Do Thanh Sang, Bui Tan Vu, Nguyen Thanh Thuy Dung, Mai Bao Chau, Nguyen Hoang Thuy Khanh, Nguyen Thanh Truong, Chau Ngoc Quy, Tran Minh Khai, Le Thi Cam Tien, Phan Vu Em, Huynh Nguyen Khanh Duy, Do Thi Hien Vuong.
