In a solemn atmosphere, delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs who fought and sacrificed their lives in the resistance wars for national liberation, national reunification, and the cause of building and defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.

Thereby expressing gratitude and pride for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs, demonstrating the determination of delegates attending the Congress about their responsibility for the revolutionary cause in the new period.

* In the old Ben Tre area, the delegation attending the 1st Congress of the Women's Union of Vinh Long province, term 2025 - 2030, led by Ms. Do Thi Hue Anh - Vice President of the Provincial Women's Union, Head of Ben Tre bridge point, and the delegates visited the heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs cemetery and the Temple of Female General Nguyen Thi Dinh.

In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the provincial martyrs' cemetery; deeply grateful for the contributions of those who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

Next, the delegation visited the Temple of General Nguyen Thi Dinh - the first female general of the Vietnam People's Army, leader of the Dong Khoi Ben Tre movement, former Vice President of the State Council, President of the Vietnam Women's Union. Her life and career are a shining symbol of the indomitable will of Southern women, contributing to the victory of the Vietnamese revolution.

* At the historical site of President Ho Chi Minh Temple and the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (Long Duc Ward), the delegation attending the Congress of the Women's Union of Vinh Long Province held a ceremony to pay tribute and offer incense to Uncle Ho and the heroic martyrs.

At the ceremony, delegates performed the flower and incense offering ceremony at Uncle Ho's Temple and the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, delegates observed a minute of silence to commemorate the great contributions of heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, national reunification and protection of the Fatherland.

The women of the province promised themselves to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, enhance the sense of responsibility, promote the role of the Women's Union, carry out political tasks well, unite and gather members, take care of equal, progressive and happy families. From there, contribute to building Vinh Long province to develop in the new era.
