Summary of Southern emulation cluster activities and signing of emulation covenant in 2026

On December 6, the Standing Committee of the Women's Union of An Giang province (Cluster Leader unit in 2025) coordinated with the Women's Union of Vinh Long province to organize a conference to summarize the activities of the Southern Emulation Cluster in 2025, deploy the Emulation and Reward Plan and sign the emulation covenant in 2026.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union gave a speech at the conference.

In 2025, the work of the Women's Union and the women's movement in 6 Southern provinces continued to achieve many positive results. The provinces focused on mobilizing and integrating many resources to support women to stabilize their lives and develop their economies , especially poor women, disadvantaged women and women from religious and ethnic groups.

Many new models are developed in a sustainable direction, such as livelihood support, digital transformation in production and business, building safe and civilized families, contributing to improving the quality of life and increasing the initiative of members.

Emulation movements, campaigns and major projects were implemented synchronously, linked to the practical needs of Southern women. The work of perfecting, training and fostering the Association's cadres was focused on. The Association's organizations from the provincial to grassroots levels basically maintained stable operations, solidarity and made efforts to innovate.

At the conference, delegates discussed and shared outstanding activities of the Women's Union of 6 Southern provinces, and at the same time, gave comments on the draft plan for implementing emulation and reward activities of the Southern Cluster in 2026. Also at the conference, units were selected to propose the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union to award flags and certificates of merit in 2026.

Ca Mau Provincial Women's Union received the rotating flag of Cluster Leader in 2026 from An Giang Provincial Women's Union.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union said: In recent times, activities according to the annual theme, the National Target Program, social security and humanitarian activities... have brought about practical results.

In the coming time, the Women's Union at all levels needs to implement the 2026 theme "Innovation, creativity, concretization and implementation of the Resolutions of the Party Congress, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and the Women's Congress at all levels into life"; effectively deploy the emulation movement "Building Vietnamese Women of the new era" associated with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle; strengthen digital transformation, improve information technology application skills for cadres, members and women, contributing to gradually improving digital capacity in the entire Union system.
