Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Sung A Ho - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province emphasized that the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lai Chau province has the task of comprehensively assessing the advantages and disadvantages, clearly analyzing the causes of limitations; practical experiences in implementing the Resolution of the 13th Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; on that basis, determining the targets, tasks and solutions that need to be focused on in the 2025 - 2030 term; discussing and contributing opinions to the draft amendments to the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term; drafting the political report of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; consulting on the election of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term; consulting on the election of the Delegation to attend the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

During the past term, the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have focused on innovating the content and methods of operation; proactively organizing and implementing, flexibly deploying newly arising tasks, effectively implementing the 6 action programs of the Congress Resolution. The role and position of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations have been increasingly affirmed.

The 14th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2025 - 2030.

Responding to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and member organizations at all levels in the province have mobilized 403 billion VND in support, contributing to the elimination of 7,383 temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, reaching 100% of the set plan. The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have mobilized over 20 billion VND from the "For the Poor" Fund, supporting poor households, near-poor households, and households in especially difficult circumstances to build and repair 266 solidarity houses; supporting livelihoods for 191 households. The whole province has 81,442 households registered to prevent and fight crime; 94,225 households registered to prevent and fight drugs; 94,931 households registered to ensure traffic safety.

The National Great Unity Day on the occasion of the anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front is organized regularly and widely every year. In 2024 and 2025, 100% of residential areas organized the festival, 1,280 exemplary families, exemplary individuals, 520 residential areas were honored at the festival; 30 provincial leaders, 350 district leaders, 1,030 commune leaders attended the festival; supported the construction of 264 Great Unity Houses, 550 gifts at the Great Unity Day...

With the motto "Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development", the Congress set out general goals, 15 specific target groups, 2 breakthrough tasks, 6 Action Programs; in which, 100% of cadres, party members, union members, association members and 95% of the people were propagandized and thoroughly grasped the Party's directives and resolutions, policies and laws of the State; 100% of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees and member organizations at all levels developed programs and plans to implement the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress; Resolution of the Party Congress at the same level; directives, resolutions, conclusions of the Central and the province as required...
