Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien inspected landslide sites in Tay Tra and Tay Tra Bong communes.

On the morning of December 5, the Provincial Party Committee's working delegation, led by Central Party Committee member and Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien, inspected a number of landslides in Tay Tra and Tay Tra Bong communes.

Currently, the landslide in this area is threatening 51 households with nearly 200 people. During the prolonged heavy rains in November 2025, the landslide caused 02 houses to completely collapse.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the locality have a plan to evacuate and protect the safety of people's lives in the event of heavy rain in the coming time. In the long term, it is necessary to coordinate with the relevant agencies to survey and determine the land fund to propose the province to allocate funds to build a resettlement area and relocate all 51 households to a new, safe place. According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the estimated cost of building a new resettlement area is about 22 billion VND.

Suoi Dinh Bridge on the Bac Duong Intersection route to Tre village, Tay Tra Bong commune has suffered a severe landslide.

Inspecting the landslide situation at Suoi Dinh bridge on the Bac Duong intersection route to Tre village, Tay Tra Bong commune, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien requested the Department of Construction to coordinate with the locality and related departments and branches to build a new bridge at a suitable location, avoiding further landslides and ensuring safety for people and vehicles traveling on the route.

The landslide completely filled the garage, damaged the porch, and knocked down the ground floor wall at Tra Xinh Medical Station.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien and the working delegation also inspected the landslide at Tra Xinh Medical Station, Tay Tra Commune. The prolonged heavy rains in November 2025 caused rocks and soil from the hill next to this headquarters to collapse, completely covering the garage, damaging the porch, and collapsing the ground floor wall. The estimated damage is about 2.5 billion VND.

While waiting for repairs, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the local government to arrange temporary working headquarters for the staff of the Health Station, to ensure that primary health care for people at the grassroots level is not affected.
