In just a few days, the Vietnamese golf team will officially leave for Thailand to attend the 33rd SEA Games, taking place at Siam Country Club Rolling Hill (Chonburi province).

Participating in this Congress, the Vietnamese golf team gathered 7 players, including: Nguyen Trong Hoang, Ho Anh Huy, Nguyen Anh Minh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Le Chuc An, Le Nguyen Minh Anh and Nguyen Viet Gia Han.

According to the Vietnam Golf Association, this list is a force carefully selected from national tournaments and through professional assessment by the Coaching Board, with the expectation of continuing the historical success at the most recent SEA Games.

The 33rd SEA Games will take place from December 9 to December 20, bringing together athletes from 11 countries in 50 sports. Golf will take place from December 11 to 14 at Siam Country Club Rolling Hill.

At this year's tournament, golf will award medals for 4 events, including: Men's individual, women's individual, men's team and women's team.

The Vietnamese golf team came to the 33rd SEA Games with the mindset of learning and gaining experience, but still carrying the spirit of determination and the desire to win. The players aim to compete with all their might for the flag and the fans, and hope to create memorable impressions at the Games.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong, leader of the Vietnam golf team, the goal of the delegation at this SEA Games is to strive to win medals. Regarding the preparation schedule, he said the team will go to Thailand 5 days in advance to have time to practice and get familiar with the course. The official competition rounds will start from December 11.
