On the same morning, heavy rains and floods caused the Truong River and the Oa River, flowing through Tra My and Tra Tan communes, to rise, cutting off traffic and isolating many residential areas, including Tan Hiep village. The rising water left 8 households with more than 40 people unable to evacuate in time and isolated for many hours.

The Defense Command of Region 3 - Tra My (City Military Command) mobilized support forces, transporting more than 30 boxes of instant noodles, dry food, and drinking water to support isolated households.

According to preliminary statistics, the city's armed forces donated more than 2,500 meals, over 1,000 necessities, and 1 ton of purified water to serve 1,200 patients, 400 family members, and 155 doctors and nurses at medical facilities heavily affected by floods.

In recent days, more than 2,600 officers and soldiers of the regular force, 6,000 militia and 4,000 reserve forces have been mobilized and on duty at key points, ready to support the evacuation of people; transport necessities, search and rescue and overcome consequences.

The city's armed forces mobilized 32 cars, 20 trucks, bulldozers, 14 canoes, 8 boats, and flying equipment to observe the terrain, identify isolated areas, support forces to quickly approach and transport relief goods to the people in a timely manner.

Currently, the City Military Command is making full use of all available equipment and materials, spreading to all directions, isolated and heavily flooded areas, and being on standby to support people in all situations.
