Mr. Huynh Le Tuan, Deputy Director of Quang Nam Traffic Infrastructure Management Center, said that as of 3:00 p.m. on October 30, a total of 6 national highways assigned to the management unit suffered an estimated loss of about 18.37 billion VND. Of which, National Highway 40B accounted for more than 11.328 billion VND to repair 41 landslides of positive slope, road surface erosion, and longitudinal ditches; 6 landslides of negative slope; road surface damage at 2 sections; and erosion of Dak Pxi bridge foundation.

Regarding the provincial road system, this unit said that the preliminary estimate of damage is up to 74,829 billion VND. Of which, the cost to repair route DT615 accounts for more than 18 billion VND (repairing landslides on the positive slope, building a new Ong Hoi bridge); route DT606 is 9,369 billion VND.

Mr. Le Van Minh Nga, Deputy Director of the Danang Infrastructure Maintenance Board, informed that the preliminary estimate of damage caused by floods to the DT601 route is about 8 billion VND. The above cost does not include some damaged and isolated traffic locations of the DT601 route, so the board and the road management unit have not been able to access to inspect and assess the damage. Meanwhile, the estimated cost to repair the damage to Nhu Nguyet Street (in Hai Chau Ward) is about 200 million VND.
