The province has about 6,000 enterprises, most of which are small and medium-sized. During their operations, business owners have practiced saving to optimize resources. Saving for businesses is no longer simply cutting expenses, but is considered in the overall strategy to achieve the highest production and business efficiency.

Lang Son Traffic Construction Consulting Joint Stock Company is one of the typical enterprises in implementing energy saving. In 2022, the company issued a resolution on electricity saving practice for the period 2022-2025 and was strictly implemented by the company's staff. Accordingly, all departments and divisions of the company have made the most of natural light, used electrical equipment such as computers, air conditioners, and lighting appropriately, without waste. Thanks to that, from 2022 to now, the company has saved about 20 million VND in electricity bills each year.

It is estimated that by the end of 2025, the contribution of the private economic sector to the province's GRDP will reach about 67%, and is forecast to reach over 70% by 2030. In 2025, it is estimated that the contribution of the private enterprise sector to the provincial budget will reach more than 800 billion VND (in 2024, the contribution of enterprises to the province's domestic revenue will reach 701 billion VND).

For businesses that construct and install construction works and produce construction materials, practicing thrift and combating waste is also considered one of the important solutions to improve work efficiency and increase productivity.

According to statistics, the province currently has about 80 enterprises participating in construction projects. Through research, 100% of enterprises are always proactive in implementing synchronous solutions such as investing in machinery, applying modern technology to improve productivity, prevent waste of materials, ensure project quality and shorten the progress and construction time.

Truong An Construction Joint Stock Company is a typical unit in the province in investing in modern equipment and technology associated with implementing thrift and combating waste. Mr. Nguyen Van Huong, Deputy Director of the company said: During the operation, the content of practicing thrift and combating waste when constructing construction works is a criterion that the company attaches importance to.

Accordingly, in addition to investing in conventional machinery systems such as cars, excavators, rollers, etc., since 2022, the company has invested nearly 20 billion VND to purchase modern machinery such as: automatic coordinate measuring machines transmitted from satellites, 6-way tilting and lifting machines, multi-point sensor automatic spreaders to ensure quality, shorten progress, control materials and reduce labor costs. Thanks to investing in technology and building a quality staff team combined with a reasonable production plan, the company always exceeds its annual revenue plan.

Meanwhile, Duc Tin Hung Private Enterprise (Loc Binh Commune), which specializes in constructing bridges, rural roads and producing construction materials, has also effectively implemented thrift practices and combated waste in the production and business process. Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dong, Director of the enterprise, shared: Investing in production lines and modern machinery and equipment is considered a smart and long-term form of saving. Although the initial investment cost is high, modern machinery has high efficiency and produces better quality products and larger output.

It is known that since 2020, Duc Tin Hung private enterprise has spent more than 30 billion VND to invest in a modern ready-mixed concrete line, serving construction projects and producing precast concrete components. Thanks to that, since 2020, the company has hardly had to recruit additional staff, and the unit's revenue has always met and exceeded the set plan.

At Lang Son Water Supply and Drainage Joint Stock Company, thanks to the application of information technology in business administration associated with implementing savings and anti-waste, from 2023 onwards, each year the company saves about 150 million VND in raw material and electricity costs for production and business activities.

The consensus and determination to practice strategic savings have been helping businesses strengthen their internal strength, overcome difficulties and create an increasingly streamlined and efficient production and business environment.
