The Provincial Red Cross Society received 1 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences of rain and flood.

- On the morning of October 31, the Provincial Red Cross Association received 1 billion VND from Wilmar CLV Group, Ho Chi Minh City to support households affected by rain and floods in the province.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society and representatives of Wilmar CLV Group and the People's Committee of Tuan Son commune presented gifts to households affected by rain and floods in the commune.

Previously, the group had donated many essential goods to the provincial Red Cross to support people in flood-affected areas with a value of more than 1.7 billion VND. This support is to help households severely affected by rain and floods to overcome difficulties, stabilize their lives, and soon return to production.

Representative of Wilmar CLV Group, Ho Chi Minh City presented a symbolic plaque of funding to support people affected by rain and floods to the leader of the Provincial Red Cross Society.

At the program, the representative of the provincial Red Cross Society thanked the business for its timely and kind attention and support to the people in the province. The Society will soon coordinate with local authorities to review and allocate support resources to the right beneficiaries, ensuring publicity and transparency.

Each gift included necessities (rice, noodles, seasoning powder...) and cleaning agents (laundry liquid, floor cleaner...) worth about 700,000 VND/gift.
