According to the People's Committee of Da Nang City, from the afternoon of October 25 until now, in localities in Da Nang City, there has been heavy to very heavy rain, with total rainfall in many places exceeding 1,000mm.
Prolonged heavy rains caused serious landslides in many mountainous areas, damaged traffic routes, isolated many residential areas, and forced the urgent evacuation of people and property. Heavy rains also caused major floods on rivers.
Due to the influence of cold air strengthening combined with disturbances in the upper easterly wind zone, from November 1, in Da Nang city there is a possibility of moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain and thunderstorms.
To promptly support people in overcoming the damage caused by heavy rain and floods, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Nang City requested departments, branches, communes, wards, and related agencies and units not to be negligent or subjective, with the most urgent and drastic spirit, proactively prevent and respond at the highest level, ensure safety of people's lives, and limit damage to people's property.
Organize visits and encourage families of victims in the area; provide timely support with food, water, medicine and essential necessities for people in damaged areas. Absolutely ensure that people do not go hungry, cold, lack clean water, or do not receive medical support when sick.

Support accommodation and food to ensure stable life for households whose houses have collapsed or been damaged, and households that have had to evacuate urgently, so that no household lacks food.
Mobilize local forces to support people in repairing houses, quickly restoring production, and soon stabilizing life in disaster-affected areas.

Mobilize households, individuals, and organizations in the area to immediately implement environmental sanitation, disinfection, and disease prevention and control work right after the water recedes.
