Coach Kim Sang currently has a quality attack, but in reality, the captain of U22 Vietnam still has a lot of work to do, including psychological issues.

U22 Vietnam's attack line is... red

Although the list of U22 Vietnam has not been announced, coach Kim Sang Sik will certainly use the strikers who participated in the journey to win the U23 Southeast Asian Championship or win tickets to the U23 Asian Finals.

Specifically, the Korean strategist continues to use Thanh Nhan, Quoc Viet, Dinh Bac, Ngoc My and Dinh Xuan Tien... for the striker positions in U22 Vietnam preparing for SEA Games 33.

The U22 Vietnam strikers have all scored in the V-League.

The above names are currently in the best form that Vietnamese football has at the moment. Notably, all of them have scored goals in V-League 2025/26 or played an important role at their clubs.

The international experience of the above strikers is also very extensive because they have participated in many tournaments at youth level, and even played for the Vietnamese national team many times in recent years.

Is it ripe?

At first glance, U22 Vietnam possesses a dream attack, but in reality it is not as many people thought, if not to say that the strikers of coach Kim Sang Sik... have many problems.

Typically, in the U23 Southeast Asia tournament, U23 Vietnam (actually U22) scored 8 goals after 4 matches, however most of the goals were scored by defenders and midfielders.

But the reality is not simple so coach Kim Sang Sik still has a lot of work to do.

Or like the U23 Asia qualifiers, 2/3 goals came from midfielders (Viktor Le, Van Thuan) is the clearest example of the problem of the U22 Vietnam strikers.

Coach Kim Sang Sik can rest assured because there are many solutions to score goals. However, once the strikers are still sluggish and miss too many opportunities, or have very low accuracy in clear finishing moves, that is a potential risk for U22 Vietnam in the journey to conquer the gold medal in SEA Games 33 football.

Of course, to solve the problem on the offensive line, Coach Kim Sang Sik will certainly have to work a lot to make adjustments. The task is not only to train physical strength or tactics, but also to improve accuracy, composure and decision-making ability in the 16m50 area.

This is a problem that involves not only skills but also psychology, so in the next training session, the Korean strategist must solve it and help his strikers regain their feeling in front of the opponent's goal.
