Durian price today in Mekong Delta
Today's durian prices show that the domestic market has not yet recovered strongly, although export inspection activities have resumed since October 27. In many areas of the Mekong Delta, especially Tien Giang , Cai Lay and Dong Thap, deep flooding is slowing down the harvest, affecting transportation and consumption.
The price of VIP Thai durian in this area is still being purchased at around 110,000 - 120,000 VND/kg. Type A is commonly priced at 95,000 VND/kg, while type B fluctuates around 80,000 VND/kg. The price of Ri6 durian type A remains at 80,000 - 85,000 VND/kg, type B around 65,000 - 70,000 VND/kg. Despite sparse transactions, the price level has not decreased thanks to stable demand from export warehouses.

Durian prices in the Central Highlands remain high
In the Central Highlands, durian prices today remain attractive thanks to standard sources and little impact from storms. In Dak Lak , large warehouses still purchase VIP Thai durian at 100,000 - 120,000 VND/kg, and type A at around 95,000 VND/kg. Ri6 types remain at 50,000 VND/kg, ensuring farmers have stable profits.
In Gia Lai , the price of Thai durian grade A fluctuates between 92,000 and 95,000 VND/kg, the VIP grade reaches a peak of 115,000 VND/kg. Musang King – the grade for export – is still priced at 140,000 VND/kg. Delivery to ports has not yet returned to normal, but the Central Highlands region is still considered the region with the highest price range in the country.
Lam Dong continues to be a region with high and stable durian prices, thanks to the source of beautiful fruit that meets export standards. The price of VIP Thai durian remains at 120,000 VND/kg, and type A is 88,000 - 90,000 VND/kg. Some warehouses only purchase products that have been inspected and meet standards, making transactions not very active.
Durian prices in Binh Phuoc are stable.
Binh Phuoc also maintains high prices, with Thai VIP durian around 115,000 VND/kg, type A fluctuating between 90,000 - 92,000 VND/kg. Ri6 here is still purchased at around 42,000 - 48,000 VND/kg. Although there is no shortage of supply, export warehouses still prioritize processing remaining orders from the period of temporary suspension of inspection, causing a large amount of new goods to not reach the market.
Durian market awaits recovery signals after export congestion
According to agricultural associations, the resumption of export testing laboratories in Dak Lak has helped to clear some of the backlog of containers. However, the volume of goods cleared through customs is still limited, while unfavorable weather has put many Western gardeners at risk in terms of harvest progress.
However, today's durian prices remain high, helping farmers maintain good profits. Experts predict that when export activities are fully restored in early November, durian prices in the Central Highlands and the West may increase slightly again, especially for the high-quality Thai and Ri6 varieties.
