Durian price today October 4: Ri6 suddenly increased sharply

Durian prices today, October 4, fluctuated in different directions. Ri6 prices in the West increased, Thai durian in many provinces decreased from 1,000 - 3,000 VND/kg.

Today's durian prices in the Mekong Delta region

In the Mekong Delta region, Ri6 durian grade A is priced at 75,000 – 80,000 VND/kg, an increase of 3,000 VND/kg. Ri6 grade B is at 60,000 – 62,000 VND/kg, and grade C is around 40,000 VND/kg.

AB grade rice varieties range from 50,000 to 55,000 VND/kg; the market is active but not bustling.

Durian price today in Gia Lai

In Gia Lai, premium Thai durian still fetches 110,000 – 115,000 VND/kg. Grade A Thai durian ranges from 95,000 VND/kg, grade B from 73,000 – 75,000 VND/kg, and grade C from only 38,000 – 40,000 VND/kg.

Ri6 durian here is much lower than in the West, type A is only 44,000 - 45,000 VND/kg, defective type A is about 20,000 VND/kg.

Durian price today in Dak Lak

In Dak Lak, premium Thai durian (Grade A) is priced at 115,000 – 120,000 VND/kg. Grade A durian ranges from 98,000 – 100,000 VND/kg, Grade B is around 78,000 – 80,000 VND/kg, and Grade C is only 37,000 – 41,000 VND/kg.

Ri6 grade A prices increased slightly to 48,000 – 50,000 VND/kg, grade B to 33,000 – 35,000 VND/kg. Ri6 prices dropped to 25,000 VND/kg, while cream-colored Ri6 remained very low at only 10,000 VND/kg.

Durian price today in Lam Dong

Premium Thai durian in Lam Dong province is priced at 115,000 – 120,000 VND/kg. However, Grade A Thai durian has dropped to 82,000 – 92,000 VND/kg, with some warehouses reporting 95,000 VND/kg. Grade B Thai durian ranges from 62,000 – 72,000 VND/kg, while Grade C is only 32,000 – 37,000 VND/kg.

Ri6 shrimp here fetched 30,000 – 32,000 VND/kg, while defective ones ranged from 20,000 – 22,000 VND/kg. Additionally, Musang King shrimp was recorded at 65,000 VND/kg.

Today's durian prices in Dong Nai

In Dong Nai, Grade A Thai durian is priced at 105,000 VND/kg, Grade B at 85,000 VND/kg, and Grade C at around 30,000-35,000 VND/kg. Grade A Ri6 durian ranges from 42,000-44,000 VND/kg, while Grade B is only 30,000-33,000 VND/kg. Ri6 durian with minor defects is priced at only 17,000-20,000 VND/kg in many places.

Durian price today in Binh Phuoc

In Binh Phuoc, Thai mangoes of grade A are priced at around 80,000 – 85,000 VND/kg, and grade B at 60,000 – 65,000 VND/kg. Ri6 mangoes of grade A are priced at 42,000 – 44,000 VND/kg, grade B at 25,000 – 27,000 VND/kg, with defective mangoes ranging from 17,000 – 30,000 VND/kg.
