DNO - On the morning of October 30, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu inspected the flood situation and encouraged people in the flooded area in Tra Doa village, Thang An commune.

Also attending were leaders of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and leaders of the Ministry of National Defense . On the side of the leaders of Da Nang city, there were Central Party Committee member, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang; Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee Pham Duc An; Chairman of the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Le Tri Thanh; along with leaders of central ministries, branches, Military Region 5 and representatives of local authorities.

In Tra Doa village, where 17 households with 49 people are deeply flooded due to prolonged heavy rain, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu and Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Ngoc Quang kindly asked about the health, life and living conditions of the people and shared the difficulties that the people are going through. At the same time, they encouraged the households to make efforts to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

The Standing Secretariat requested city and local authorities to focus on mobilizing all resources to support people in flood-affected areas, especially ensuring essential goods, clean water, medicine and safe accommodation for affected households.

At the same time, he emphasized that, in addition to urgent immediate relief, it is necessary to proactively implement measures to overcome the consequences of floods; soon restore infrastructure, agricultural production and livelihoods for people.

At the meeting, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented many gifts to households severely flooded, demonstrating the concern and sharing of the Party, State and the whole society for people in disaster areas.

Thereby, adding confidence and motivation for people of Thang An commune to overcome difficulties, soon stabilize their lives, and restore production after natural disasters.
