In recent years, thanks to the right orientation and reasonable exploitation of mineral resources potential, Lien Son has become a bright spot in industrial and handicraft development, especially in the field of construction materials production. Thanks to that, the local socio-economic landscape is changing day by day.

Trung Son Cement One Member Co., Ltd. in Loc Mon village has been operating since 2014 with a total investment of about 1,200 billion VND, operating a fairly modern technological line, synchronized with a rotary kiln with a capacity of 2,500 tons of clinker/day, equipped with an advanced cement grinding system. In particular, the company uses FLSmidth cement grinding machine (Denmark) with a capacity of about 250 tons of clinker/hour, operating in a closed cycle and having a high-performance separator.

In recent times, industrial and handicraft production establishments in Lien Son commune have had many positive changes. Production and business activities of stone mining enterprises, construction material production and processing enterprises and activities in the processing and manufacturing industry continue to develop.

Industrial production capacity is improved, industrial production facilities are gradually invested in, expanded and innovated with technological equipment, improving the quality of goods, maintaining stable development of the construction materials production industry.

Up to now, in the commune, there are 205 establishments, enterprises and households producing handicrafts and small-scale industries in operation, of which 118 units operate in the handicraft and small-scale industries, 17 stone mining enterprises, 2 cement factories, 4 enterprises producing burnt bricks and unburnt bricks, 1 paper factory, 5 cement concrete mixing stations and 1 asphalt concrete mixing station; 65 individual households operate in handicraft and small-scale industries.

In addition, the whole commune has 1,112 establishments and households engaged in small-scale handicrafts, creating jobs and stable income for more than 5,400 workers. The average income is from 7 to 10 million VND/person/month. The diverse development of small-scale handicrafts contributes to promoting rural industrialization and completing the criteria for building new rural areas.

Through assessment, the industry - handicraft and construction sector has high growth, the average growth rate of industrial - construction production value is 16%. The total production value of the industry in 2025 is expected to reach 5,830 billion VND, an increase of 3,074 billion VND (2.1 times) compared to 2020.

Thanks to the revenue from industrial activities, Lien Son has more resources to invest in infrastructure, build intra-field roads, upgrade schools and medical stations. The poverty rate has decreased to less than 3%, and the average income per capita has reached 60 million VND/year.

Not only stopping at exploitation, the commune also orients businesses to gradually shift to deep processing, increase product value, and apply environmentally friendly production technology. Many models of recycling waste from brick and cement production have been deployed, contributing to reducing pollution and saving resources. Strictly manage and effectively exploit resources, especially land and mineral resources. Focus on protecting the environment and mineral resources, especially at quarries, cement factories, brick factories, and construction material production facilities.

In addition, the commune has focused resources and solutions to promptly remove difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of industrial park and cluster projects in the area, speed up the progress of technical infrastructure investment and continue to attract investment in industrial parks and clusters.

Currently, in the commune, there are 2 established industrial parks, 1 planned industrial park; Nhuan Trach Industrial Park in the commune has an area of ​​80ha/213.68ha and has completed site clearance. Tan Vinh - Cao Son Industrial - Service - Urban Park with an area of ​​200ha/430ha in the commune is being planned for subdivision.

The traffic system of Lien Son commune is invested and built to meet standards to meet the travel and goods exchange needs of the people.
