The 1st Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thung Nai commune, term 2025-2030

On the afternoon of October 29, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thung Nai commune held its first Congress of delegates for the 2025-2030 term with the participation of 121 outstanding union members and youths from 27 branches in the area.

Leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thung Nai commune presented flowers to congratulate the congress.

In recent times, the work of the Youth Union and the youth and children's movement in Thung Nai commune has had many innovations in content and methods of operation; gradually adapting to the requirements of the new period. The work of educating revolutionary ideals, ethics, and cultural lifestyle for youth and children has been given attention and focus, promoting the spirit of solidarity, dynamism, volunteerism, and creativity. Thereby, arousing the spirit of self-reliance, self-improvement, and responsibility to society, to the Party, and to the People in each youth union member.

The Commune Youth Union regularly and proactively propagates and mobilizes people to participate in building a new cultural life, deploying models in new rural construction. In particular, the model "Youth self-management route on security and order" and the model "Youth self-management on security and order in the locality" have been effectively maintained. During the term, over 10,000 new trees were planted; village roads and alleys were cleaned; sewers were dredged; holes were dug, and over 500 kg of waste was collected and classified. Volunteer activities to ensure social security were effectively implemented with diverse and rich programs and activities associated with the needs of social life.

The first Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thung Nai commune was introduced at the congress.

Promoting the role of volunteer shock troops, the Youth Union has carried out many activities to support and give gifts to poor households and policy families on the occasion of holidays and Tet. Mobilizing resources to build 01 "Happy House" with a total value of 95 million VND.

At the congress, delegates focused on discussing and proposing groups of tasks and solutions to successfully carry out the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement for the 2025-2030 term. Specifically, strive for 100% of Youth Union officials and Youth Union members to meet the requirements in the annual inspection and assessment of learning results, and to thoroughly grasp the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, policies and laws of the State; 80% of Youth Union members are informed about the resolutions of the Party, the Youth Union, policies and laws of the State; 7,000 Youth Union members and youth participate in volunteer activities organized by the Youth Union and Association; 02 youth projects at all levels participate in the development, application of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

Speaking at the congress, comrade Dinh Van Duan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Thung Nai Commune Party Committee, congratulated and commended the achievements of the Commune Youth Union in the activities of the Youth Union and the youth movement in the past time. In the new term, the Executive Committee of the Thung Nai Commune Party Committee believes that with the spirit of "Pioneering - Solidarity - Courage - Creativity - Development", the Youth Union of the commune will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, unification of will and action, and dedication of youth to successfully carry out the tasks of the Youth Union and the youth movement for the term 2025-2030.

The congress announced the decision of the direct superior delegation to appoint the Executive Committee of the Communist Youth Union of Thung Nai commune, consisting of 29 comrades. Comrade Le Anh Hong was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Thung Nai commune. The congress also announced the decision to appoint 1 official delegate and 1 alternate delegate to attend the Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Phu Tho province, term 2025-2030.
