Young people take the lead in spreading the movement "Digital Literacy for All"

Responding to the "Digital Literacy for All" movement launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union (VYU), the Youth Union and Association at all levels in the province are implementing many practical models and activities to popularize digital knowledge for people, contributing to improving digital transformation capacity in the community and opening up opportunities to access technology for all social classes.

The "Digital Education for All" movement for the 2025-2027 period was launched nationwide in February 2025, aiming to concretize Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation and national digital transformation. With their youth, dynamism and ability to quickly adapt to technology, union members and young people (YUs) have become a pioneering force, taking on a core role in propagating, guiding and supporting people to use digital utilities in their daily lives.

Youth Unions at grassroots levels actively guide people to access and use digital applications.

In Phu Tho , the Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Youth Union have issued a plan to implement the movement in 2025, focusing on establishing "Digital Literacy" teams at the grassroots level, with youth union members as the center of the campaign to disseminate digital knowledge to the community. Team members are thoroughly trained in information technology skills, from using computers and smart devices to accessing the Internet, exploiting applications, software and social networks in a civilized and safe manner. At the same time, the youth also guide people to identify and avoid bad and toxic information, warn about scams in cyberspace, contributing to building a healthy digital environment.

Not only stopping at basic skills, the teams also help people and households access reputable domestic e-commerce platforms, train online sales skills, cashless payments, as well as exploit digital applications for production and business. This knowledge is conveyed through direct instruction sessions at cultural houses and community centers, with the motto "hand-holding and showing how to do it" so that people can easily absorb and apply it immediately in practice.

At the end of April 2025, the Standing Committee of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Youth Union (old) organized a training course to improve the skills of propagating digital transformation and using online public services for nearly 160 Youth Union officials of the school sector and the Student Association. At the program, Mr. Le Cong Thanh, founder of InfoRe Information Selection Technology Joint Stock Company, one of the pioneers in the field of artificial intelligence (AI) in Vietnam, shared a lot of useful knowledge about the development of AI technology and its potential applications in life.

He also introduced the model of “AI Digital Literacy”, opening up a new approach to knowledge for young people in the technology era. In particular, all students of the training class were awarded scholarships for the AI ​​course, creating conditions for direct experience and in-depth knowledge acquisition of artificial intelligence.

With the support of the youth union, local people have gradually mastered digital technology applications to serve their personal needs.

Continuing this activity, from May 2025 to present, "Digital Popular Education" classes continue to be widely organized in both forms: In-person and online. Online classes are deployed on digital platforms, helping to expand the reach, connecting a large number of people and youth in many different locations. At the same time, the Provincial Youth Union also organized an online contest to learn about Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo, contributing to spreading awareness about science, technology, innovation and digital transformation in the community.

The specific and practical activities of the “Digital Literacy for All” movement are gradually helping people get acquainted with and apply technology to work and life, improve labor productivity, expand job opportunities, and contribute to building a digital government, digital economy, and digital society. At the same time, the movement also affirms the pioneering and creative role of young people in the national digital transformation process.

In the coming time, the Youth Union and Association at all levels in the province will continue to expand digital transformation training courses, build a free digital learning materials system for youth and people, and improve the quality of activities of the "Digital Education for the People" teams. With the spirit of vanguard and dedication, Phu Tho youth are contributing to realizing the goal of popularizing digital knowledge, making digital transformation a driving force for sustainable development of the locality and the country.
