
The command post, directly commanded by Major General Nguyen Quoc Huong, Deputy Commander of Military Region 5, is responsible for directing and commanding the armed forces in the area; coordinating with local Party committees and authorities to deploy measures to respond to natural disasters and search and rescue, and overcome consequences; minimizing damage to people and property of the State, the Army and the people.
On the morning of November 5, the Military Region worked with An Hai Border Guard Station and leaders of Tuy An Dong, O Loan, and Tuy An Nam communes. Currently, the three communes manage more than 700 fishing boats, nearly 10,000 aquaculture cages with more than 1,000 workers.
Promoting the spirit of "4 on-the-spot", agencies, units and localities have been continuing to monitor the storm's developments, organize propaganda, mobilize and support people, boats and rafts to safe anchorage areas. Dak Lak province's armed forces units continue to inspect key areas at risk of landslides, flash floods and inundation to advise and propose plans to evacuate people, synthesize and report to the Military Region Command to grasp and have timely direction plans. All preparations were completed before 8:00 p.m. on November 5.

In addition to promoting propaganda work, Military Region 5 also requires units to continue to consolidate and reinforce houses and barracks, strengthen inspection work, especially at key points, dams, review the amount of logistics and technical materials, and ensure smooth communication systems. Units closely coordinate with local authorities, establish shock troops, and promptly help people in situations, giving priority to the elderly, children, and vulnerable groups.
