The capital of trade - the new festival of Vietnam
In the middle of Hanoi's autumn, on an area of over 90 hectares, more than 3,000 booths of 2,500 domestic and foreign enterprises covered 5 sub-areas, creating a vivid picture of the creativity, production and consumption capacity of Vietnam in the integration period.
The highlight is the "Thu Dat Viet" area, where 34 localities bring regional specialties, OCOP products and exquisite handicrafts.
At the "Quintessence of Autumn in Hanoi" subdivision, the space of Hanoi's Old Quarter is romantically recreated with the "Autumn Road" covered with yellow leaves and stalls of traditional craft villages such as Bat Trang ceramics, Van Phuc silk, Chuon Ngo mother-of-pearl inlay...
In particular, the "Quintessence of Vietnamese Culture" area becomes a lively "heritage stage" with performances of Cheo, Tuong, Quan Ho Bac Ninh ...
The huge scale but well-arranged has brought visitors a complete journey of discovery. Through that, the first Autumn Fair - 2025 at VEC has proven its role as a true cultural - commercial ecosystem, where each locality can proudly introduce its "soul" (heritage) and "core" (products) on the national stage.
“This is the first time the fair has been held in such a grand center. People come here not only to shop, but also to sightsee, have fun and be entertained. This is truly a destination that brings many benefits to everyone,” said Mr. Dang Van Hien, representative of Vietnam Livestock Industry Corporation (VISSAN).

Not only an exhibition, the 2025 Autumn Fair is also an effective forum for trade and investment promotion. More than 200 international importers from 30 countries attended hundreds of B2B sessions within the framework of the event. Many large contracts were signed on the spot, such as Lam Son Sugarcane Joint Stock Company (Lasuco) signing an export contract worth nearly 2 million USD, or Vietnamese businesses successfully connecting with global e-commerce platforms such as Amazon Global Selling and Alibaba.com.
“We have to replenish our stock almost every day. On Sunday, November 2nd alone, total revenue was nearly 100 million VND; on normal days it reaches 45-50 million VND,” said Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Board of Members of Hoang Lien Maca Joint Stock Company (Lang Son).
In addition to its role as a “national trading platform” for Vietnamese businesses, VEC has demonstrated its ability to organize international-scale MICE events. With a total area of 90 hectares, including 130,000 square meters of indoor exhibition space, a system of conference centers, a massive outdoor stage and an 18-hectare parking lot, VEC is shaping its position as the new “trade and festival capital” of Vietnam.

“My family spent the whole day at the Fair. During the day we strolled around looking at Vietnamese goods, in the afternoon we ate regional cuisine, and in the evening we watched music. It has been a long time since I felt like I could go to a real festival, fully in a large space like at VEC,” said Ms. Minh Hanh (Dinh Cong, Hanoi).
Starting point of journeys to spread love
While the impressive numbers show the scale of the “super fair”, the charity program “Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love” creates the humane depth of the event. Right at the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on the business community and people nationwide to donate to support the people of the Central region affected by natural disasters.

Nearly 400 billion VND was donated right at the fair area, of which Vingroup Corporation alone contributed 100 billion VND (from the 500 billion VND budget for flood relief).
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emotionally shared: "This spirit of humanity is a beautiful symbol of our nation's tradition of solidarity, and is the endogenous strength for Vietnam to go further on the path of development."

From donation boxes filled with hearts, to businesses committed to long-term support for disaster areas, the Autumn Fair becomes a festival of Vietnamese hearts, where economic development always goes hand in hand with social responsibility.
A boost for Vietnamese consumption and exports
According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, direct revenue at the Fair reached nearly 1,000 billion VND, an increase of 40-45% compared to the average level of national trade promotion events in recent years. The total value of transactions, contracts and signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) reached about 5,000 billion VND, demonstrating the role of the Autumn Fair as a launching pad for domestic and international trade.

During the 10 days, 11 conferences, seminars and thematic forums were held continuously, focusing on the following areas: agricultural exports, e-commerce, digital transformation, cultural industry development, green energy and sustainable investment. International experts from Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, China and the European Union attended and shared many initiatives that contributed to connecting Vietnamese enterprises with the global supply chain.
Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized: “The first Autumn Fair is an affirmation that the Vietnamese market is not only attractive in terms of scale and development speed, but also a safe, friendly and promising destination for domestic and international investors. The fair is a symbol of the solidarity and common development aspirations of the Vietnamese people.”

The Autumn Fair is an important event that opens a series of national-scale trade - investment - cultural promotion activities in the new era, assigned by the Prime Minister to the Ministry of Industry and Trade to preside over, in coordination with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Hanoi People's Committee, Vingroup Corporation and other ministries, branches and localities.
With the resounding success of the event, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has been assigned to develop a plan to organize a series of annual "Four Season Fairs" at VEC, starting with the Spring Fair 2026. Coming soon from
Right after the Autumn Fair, Vietnam Industry & Technology Week 2025 was also held at VEC from November 12 to 15. This is not only a space for exhibition and experience, but also a forum for the intersection of production and innovation, where Vietnam affirms its position as a regional production, innovation and connection center, towards a vision of industry - technology reaching the world.
Not stopping there, on November 4, VEC signed a strategic cooperation agreement with DMG Events (UK), launching the Global Energy Conference - Exhibition, the first international event on energy transition held in Hanoi in December 2026. This event is expected to gather 800 businesses, 1,500 delegates and 180 speakers from more than 50 countries. VEC has been accelerating to prove its role as a destination for national and international events, affirming its position as the leading conference - exhibition center in the region.
