Some national highways in Hue city are still blocked or have difficulty traveling due to landslides and flooding. Specifically, the West branch of Ho Chi Minh road is still blocked. La Son - Tuy Loan expressway from Hue to Nam Dong has been temporarily opened to traffic; the section from Nam Dong to Da Nang is still blocked; the Cam Lo - La Son section is running normally. National Highway 49 is temporarily opened but travel is still difficult. National Highway 49B section through the wards: Phong Dinh from Km5+900 - Km10+300 is flooded 0.2 - 0.7m deep; the section through Phong Phu is flooded 0.2 - 0.4m deep; the section through Duong No from Km43+300 - Km48+000 is flooded 0.3 - 0.7m deep; these flooded areas have been barricaded to prohibit traffic. Phu Mau Bridge at Km20+393 of Provincial Road 14 has eroded and damaged bridge abutments. Traffic has been barricaded to prohibit traffic across the bridge and diverted to another direction.
Provincial road system, many routes are deeply flooded making it difficult to travel or have been barricaded and closed such as: 11B, 17, 17B through Phong Dien ward; 8A through Kim Tra ward; 11A through Quang Dien commune... Provincial road 14B through Khe Tre commune has many sections with landslides on the positive and negative slopes causing traffic jams.
According to the forecast, from November 6 to 8, in Hue city, there will be moderate rain, heavy rain, and in some places very heavy rain again due to the influence of storm No. 13; total rainfall during this period will be 150 - 300mm, in some places over 500mm.
