Educational institutions are required to promptly notify parents; arrange teachers and staff to manage preschool children and students during the break; for boarding schools, it is necessary to stop receiving food to avoid wasting meals.

Schools with boarding students need to arrange teachers and staff on duty to ensure safety in case students cannot return home due to storms or heavy rain.

After the storm, schools need to urgently repair damage, clean classrooms, prevent epidemics, and quickly stabilize teaching and learning. The Department should not be rigid in organizing teaching and learning before and after the storm; at the same time, pay attention to, support, and encourage teachers, students, and families facing difficulties due to natural disasters...

On the same day, the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai province also announced that students at all educational institutions in the province will be off from school from the afternoon of November 6 until further notice, to proactively respond to storm Kalmaegi.

Khanh Hoa and Gia Lai let students stay home from school to avoid storm Kalmaegi. Hundreds of thousands of students in Khanh Hoa province were given two days off from school to avoid storm Kalmaegi (storm number 13), which is forecast to be very strong.
