The reason why a female student had her ribs broken in Ho Chi Minh City.

(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The reason a female student from An Dien Secondary School (Long Nguyen Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) was beaten by a group of classmates in the restroom has been identified as a conflict that arose while lining up during a physical education class.

On the afternoon of November 5th, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training provided information about the incident in which a female student suffered multiple injuries and three broken ribs after being beaten by a group of classmates in the restroom at An Dien Secondary School (Long Nguyen Ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, the incident occurred on the afternoon of October 31st. The cause was determined to be a conflict between students while lining up during a physical education class.

After the teacher threatened to report the issue to their parents, the students arranged to meet in the restroom to resolve their conflict.

Upon discovering the incident on November 3rd, An Dien Secondary School worked with the parents of the assaulted female student and the parents of the group of students involved in the school violence.

During the meeting, the six students involved in the assault apologized to the female student and promised not to repeat similar actions. The parents of these students also apologized to the assaulted girl and her family, and offered to compensate for medical expenses.

The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training further informed that the Principal of An Dien Secondary School also apologized to the parents whose children were assaulted and accepted responsibility on behalf of the school. The school leadership committed to severely punishing the six students involved in the violent act with the highest possible disciplinary measures.

As reported by Dan Tri newspaper , on November 5th, a video circulated on social media showing a female student being cornered in a restroom and beaten by a group of classmates. In the clip, the female student is surrounded by several other female students in the school restroom, who repeatedly point fingers at her face, question her, and use vulgar language to insult her.

Afterward, the group of female students committed acts of violence against their classmate right in the restroom. At this time, many students, both male and female, stood around witnessing the event, but no one intervened; some even cheered and encouraged them.

The female student was thrown to the floor, only able to cover her head and endure the blows. The group of students only stopped when a teacher outside the restroom shouted loudly.

After the assault, the girl's family took her for a medical examination, where doctors diagnosed her with multiple injuries and three broken ribs. Currently, the girl has been brought home for easier care and to avoid affecting her studies.
