Continue to support people affected by storms and floods

In recent days, organizations and individuals in Ho Chi Minh City have continued to contribute to support people in provinces and cities affected by storms and floods.

* Mr. Phan Cong Vinh, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Phu Ward (HCMC), said that in response to the call, on the afternoon of November 4, a local business donated 50 million VND to support people in the provinces and cities affected by the recent storms and floods.

As of November 5, the total amount of money donated by organizations and individuals through the channel of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of An Phu ward is more than 700 million VND.

* Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Long Giang, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thuan Giao Ward (HCMC) said that the unit carried out the fundraising campaign in two phases. The results of the first phase were submitted to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of HCMC with an amount of more than 493 million VND.

In the second phase, individuals and organizations have donated and transferred more than 1.2 billion VND to the relief fund account of Thuan Giao ward.

* On November 5, speaking with reporters, Ms. Duong Ngoc Hang Nga, Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Khanh Ward, said that the unit received support from organizations and individuals to support people affected by storms and floods in two phases. Up to now, it has received more than 330 million VND.
