The 98 female entrepreneurs honored with the title "Outstanding Vietnamese Female Entrepreneur - Golden Rose 2025" are entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business, and at the same time have made positive contributions to the community and society, representing the mettle, intelligence and aspirations of Vietnamese female entrepreneurs in the era of innovation and global integration.
Ms. Bui Thi Hai Yen joined Hanel in 1992 and has spent 33 years navigating the company's ups and downs. She assumed the role of General Director of Hanel in late 2019 and Chairwoman of the Board of Directors in early 2025, at a time when the global and domestic economies were facing numerous shocks, from Covid-19 to global geopolitical instability. Despite these challenges, she has steadfastly steered Hanel through difficulties, ensuring sustainable development, maintaining its strategic direction of "Pioneering in Technology," and securing employment for over 12,000 workers.
Under her leadership, from 2020 to 2025, Hanel consistently won numerous awards in the technology field, such as: the Vietnam Digital Transformation Award (2020), the Smart City Award (2021), the Sao Khue Award (2022), consistently ranking among the Top 10 most reputable technology companies in Vietnam from 2021 to 2025, and being honored as a Vietnam National Brand from 2022 to 2024. These achievements are not only a source of pride for Hanel but also a testament to the management capabilities and strategic vision of a pioneering female leader.
Besides her role as a business leader, Ms. Bui Thi Hai Yen also holds many important positions in various organizations such as: Member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City for the term 2024-2029; Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI); Vice President of the Vietnam Women Entrepreneurs Association (VAWE); President of the Hanoi Women Entrepreneurs Association (HNEW); Vice President of the Hanoi Business Association (HBA); Vice President of the Hanoi Association for Liaison with Overseas Vietnamese (HALOVI); Vice President of the Vietnam Industrial Real Estate Association (VIREA); Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Logistics Services Association (VLA)...
Before being awarded the Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman - Golden Rose 2025 award, she received a series of noble awards: Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister (2015), Certificate of Merit from the Ministry of Industry and Trade (2010), Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee (2010, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2024), Outstanding Vietnamese Businesswoman Golden Rose 2013, Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur 2022, Outstanding Capital Woman 2024, Top 10 Outstanding ASEAN and Asian Entrepreneurs (2022 - 2025).
