On the morning of November 1, the Vietnam Writers Association of Hai Phong City held a conference to announce the decision of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Writers Association on merging the Hai Duong Province Writers Association (old) and the Hai Phong City Writers Association (old).

The new branch is named Vietnam Writers Association of Hai Phong City. The Executive Committee consists of 3 members: Poet Nguyen Dinh Minh as Branch Chairman; Poet Pham Anh Sao as Branch Vice Chairman; Writer Duong Thi Nhun as Member.

Poet Nguyen Dinh Minh, Head of the Vietnam Writers Association in Hai Phong city, spoke at the conference.

The new Executive Committee is responsible for managing the branch's activities and preparing conditions for the Branch Congress in the next 6 to 12 months.

Immediately after the decision was announced, delegates participated in a discussion to discuss the direction of activities, creative programs and branch building in the new period.
