In her opening speech, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports Bach Lien Huong said that Photo Hanoi'25 - International Photography Biennale is the third season organized by Hanoi City in collaboration with embassies in Vietnam, with a larger scale and stature, along with many rich and attractive activities, attracting the response and participation of 170 artists, photographers, curators and experts from 21 countries and 25 professional organizations.
Within the framework of the event, there will be 22 exhibitions and 28 sideline activities such as: Discussions, book launches, film screenings... In particular, art tours, experiences and photography practices taking place at 20 cultural spaces in the capital will bring the public and photography lovers, especially young people, the opportunity to experience, practice, and access new and attractive perspectives of contemporary Vietnamese and international photography.
Through the event, we contribute to introducing and promoting the image of the country and people of Hanoi through the perspective of photographers. All of the above activities create a large-scale, lively, impressive and profound international photography art and culture festival space of Hanoi.

A unique highlight of the exhibition is the appearance of clock works, made using photo collage technique, representing each city and running according to the real time of that location - as a vivid symbol of the rhythm and flow of urban time.
The exhibition is considered a continuation and development of the idea of the project “Hanoi – A city in photography” (2023). Through it, curator Nguyen The Son expressed his hope that the audience could connect with “their own place”, while expressing the vision of Hanoi as “a place of places” through the connecting power of photography.
Throughout November (from November 1 to 30), the Photo Hanoi International Photography Biennale '25' will bring more than 50 exhibitions and art events across Hanoi.
