Photo Hanoi' 25 - International Photography Biennale is the third season organized by Hanoi in collaboration with embassies in Vietnam, with a larger scale and stature, along with many rich and attractive activities, attracting the participation of 170 artists, photographers, and experts from 21 countries and 25 professional organizations.

Within the framework of the event, there were 22 exhibitions and 28 sideline activities such as: Discussions, book launches, film screenings...

In particular, art tours, photography experiences and practices at 20 cultural spaces in the capital will bring the public and photography lovers, especially the youth, the opportunity to experience, practice and access new and attractive perspectives of contemporary Vietnamese and international photography.

Ms. Bach Lien Huong, Director of Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, spoke at the opening ceremony.

In her opening speech, Ms. Bach Lien Huong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports, said that the event demonstrated the strong commitment and determination of the French Embassy in promoting cooperation and cultural connection between the French Republic and embassies, international organizations, foreign cultural centers in Vietnam, along with businesses, sponsors and professional organizations, contributing to enhancing cultural exchange, understanding and international cooperation.

Hanoi pledges to continue to strengthen close cooperation in research, development and implementation of new cooperation projects and linkage programs between Hanoi and creative cities, actively contributing to promoting diplomatic relations and strengthening solidarity and friendship between Vietnam and other countries.

The event attracted the participation of many domestic and international photography artists.

Mr. Jonathan Wallace Baker, Head of UNESCO Representative Office in Vietnam, shared that Photo Hanoi '25 is a place where "creativity is not confined to organizations, but is lived, experienced and spread throughout the community". This clearly reflects the city's vision of being part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network. The success of the event comes from the joint efforts of artists, communities, Government and international partners, which have shaped a "vibrant and inclusive" cultural scene.
