The Hai Phong Literature and Arts Association held a conference to merge the Photography Association of Hai Phong city and Hai Duong province before.

The merger of the two photography organizations of Hai Phong and Hai Duong is an inevitable development step, expanding creative space, strengthening collective strength and improving the quality of the regional photography movement.

Over the years, Hai Phong photography has been one of the strong units in the Red River Delta region, contributing many valuable documents on the economic development, culture and people's lives of the two localities.

With the unique material characteristics of the two localities, the merger is expected to create new strength, promote the creative movement, organize many exhibition and exchange activities, train young people, and contribute to promoting the image of a new, dynamic and developing Hai Phong to domestic and foreign friends.

After the merger, the Hai Phong City Photography Association has 100 members. The Hai Phong City Vietnam Photographic Artists Association (under the Vietnam Photographic Artists Association) has 33 members.
