Speaking at the closing ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh acknowledged, commended and highly appreciated the participation, responsibility, enthusiasm and creativity of central and local ministries, branches, business community, people nationwide and international organizations and friends, who have joined hands to make the first Autumn Fair in 2025 a success - a cultural and economic festival rich in identity, connecting Vietnam with the world in the spirit of cooperation and development.

The 2025 Autumn Fair marks a good start, opening a new stage for a series of international trade, investment and cultural promotion events of Vietnam in the new era. With the theme Connecting people with production and business, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 is a forum for promoting investment, trade, and a real trading floor, where people are affirmed to be the center, the subject, the driving force and the resource of all production, business and consumption activities.

The fair attracted more than one million visitors, thousands of trade deals, contracts and memorandums of understanding on investment cooperation and technology transfer between domestic and foreign enterprises with a commercial value of nearly VND 5,000 billion. Direct revenue at the fair and through online channels increased by 40-45% compared to the average level of national trade promotion events in recent years, thereby creating thousands of jobs for workers and creating livelihoods for people. This has affirmed that the fair is an effective channel to stimulate domestic consumption, an important driving force to promote production, import and export, an active method to renew traditional growth drivers, a dynamic bridge connecting international trade cooperation, creating momentum for the development of the domestic market in the digital age.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 has concluded with impressive numbers, inspiring, creating motivation and positive spillover effects. To continue promoting the positive results achieved, the Prime Minister suggested that the Ministry of Industry and Trade proactively build a model for organizing the annual Autumn Fair, professionally, modernly, effectively and urgently propose a plan to successfully organize the first Spring Fair Conference in 2026.

Ministries, branches, agencies, units and localities promote opportunities, commitments and agreements formed at the fair, transforming trade results into specific, practical and effective projects and products for people's lives and the socio-economic development of the country. Industry associations and the business community continue to innovate their thinking, make efforts in production and business, affirm the value of Vietnamese brands, both contributing to the socio-economic development of the country and demonstrating responsibility to the community, especially providing timely and practical support to people in areas affected by natural disasters, storms and floods.

International partners and organizations continue to accompany Vietnam in trade cooperation, investment, technology transfer, human resource training for green development, digital and sustainable development, together expanding the space for cooperation for peace, prosperity and common development around the world. According to the Organizing Committee, the first Autumn Fair in 2025 will be held on the largest scale ever in Vietnam, with a total area of ​​130,000 m2, 3,000 standard booths, and 2,500 domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations. The fair attracts an average of 100,000 visitors per day, the highest among domestic trade promotion events. The scale and number of visitors far exceed previous fairs, demonstrating the strong appeal of Vietnamese products and consumer confidence in domestic goods.

Trading and buying and selling activities took place vigorously, with an average revenue of 300 million VND/standard booth/10 days, and a total direct revenue of nearly 1,000 billion VND, of which the local booth area reached 50 billion VND. The total value of transactions, contracts and memorandums of understanding (MoU) reached nearly 5,000 billion VND, with the local area alone reaching nearly 500 billion VND. These figures show that the fair is not only a place to promote products, but also a "real trading floor", helping businesses find partners, expand supply chains and develop export markets.

Within the framework of the fair, the Organizing Committee held 11 conferences, seminars, thematic forums, selected 30 typical booths and continuously organized international trade programs with businesses from Japan, Korea, China, Singapore, New Zealand and the European Union; recorded more than 100 cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding signed. These activities clearly demonstrate the orientation of shifting from simple trade promotion to comprehensive trade promotion, linking trade - investment - innovation and digital transformation.

In recent days, at the fair, the program "Autumn of Hope - Sharing Love towards the Central and Northern mountainous regions" launched by the Prime Minister to raise donations to support the Central region people affected by storms and floods has collected 316 billion VND from state-owned enterprises, corporations, and private enterprises, demonstrating the spirit of social responsibility and sharing of the Vietnamese business community.
