The craft of making fine art handicrafts in Ha Dong village, Thuong Hong commune (formerly Thai Duong commune, Binh Giang district) flourished from the late 19th to early 20th centuries. However, in 1946, during the nationwide resistance against French colonialism, the enemy established a military outpost across a field from the village, preventing the villagers from continuing their production. Driven by a deep concern for his ancestors' traditional craft, Mr. Pham Van Phong established the Ha Dong Handicraft and Trade Village Cooperative, reviving the traditional craft. Handicrafts made from buffalo horns and cow horns. After going through the process of cutting and preparing the ingredients... ... adjustments are made at high temperatures. Then comes the grinding process to create the grain pattern... ...will create exquisite and eye-catching handicrafts. Currently, handicraft products from the Ha Dong Handicraft and Trade Village Cooperative are exported to the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, with quantities ranging from 30,000 to 50,000 products per year.
