Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Le Thi Anh Mai, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports , said that the theme "Heritage Convergence" has the meaning of connecting the three ancient capitals Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh) - Thang Long (Hanoi) - Phu Xuan (Hue), showing the exchange between cultural regions across the country - from the fertile Red River Delta to the majestic Central Highlands.

The organizers awarded commemorative medals to the artists participating in the program.

According to Ms. Mai, this is not only a journey to honor heritage, but also a symbol of the vision and aspiration of the Capital in building Hanoi into a creative center of the region and the world - where traditional heritage blends with contemporary breath, creating a unique identity of a Capital that converges and spreads Vietnamese cultural values. "Heritage Convergence" is an opportunity to honor traditional crafts and craft villages, and at the same time recognize the efforts of artisans, skilled workers, and workers who have persistently preserved and revived traditional cultural values in modern times.

“Not only is it a place to honor, the program also opens up a space to inspire the young generation – those who have the desire to inherit, innovate and develop traditional crafts with creative thinking, technology and international integration. Through performances, exchanges and experiences, the Festival contributes to arousing love for the profession, attracting qualified young people, creating a new driving force for the creative economic value chain from heritage,” said Ms. Mai.

This year’s festival brings together a variety of activities, imbued with the breath of heritage and contemporary vitality. The highlight is the space for displaying and experiencing traditional craft villages, where typical products of typical craft villages from Hanoi, Hue, Ninh Binh and the Central Highlands are introduced and promoted, helping the public discover the quintessence of traditional Vietnamese crafts through the talented hands of artisans.

The highlight of the program is the art series “On the Heritage Road” with three special performances at Ho Van, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam: “Ao Dai on the Heritage Road” – honoring the Vietnamese Ao Dai in the heritage space; “Oh Hanoi” – carrying a romantic melody, paying tribute to the thousand-year-old capital; “The Red River calls, the great forest roars” – blending the sounds of the plains and mountains, evoking a symphony about the colorful Vietnam.

The heritage experience space at Ho Van Lake also attracts public attention with creative craft workshops, traditional art activities and “Taste of Hanoi” cuisine – a place where tradition and innovation intersect, helping visitors interact, learn and create with their own hands, bringing heritage closer to contemporary life.

Along with the artistic activities are a series of academic programs and international exchanges such as the discussion "East-West cultural and educational heritage" and the workshop "Application of heritage in creativity", contributing to affirming the role of heritage as an important resource in contemporary creative development.

Two outstanding exhibitions at the Festival also made a strong impression: “Thanh Tan Hanoi” – introducing contemporary artworks inspired by Hanoi; “Heritage with the Future” – connecting the past and the present, between heritage and the young generation, opening up new perspectives on the creative journey from cultural roots.
