Ms. Luong "Good at public affairs, good at housework"

The first year the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the "Dynamic, Creative, Responsible Female Unionist" award, COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd. was honored to have Ms. Dang Thi Luong - Deputy Head of Completion Department as one of 10 individuals to receive the award. Ms. Dang Thi Luong is honored to be one of 10 individuals to receive the "Dynamic, Creative, and Responsible Female Union Member" Award from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

With a major in precision mechanics, over the years, Ms. Luong has always strived to self-study and practice to improve her professional skills, which has always been highly appreciated by the company and her colleagues. From a worker to being promoted to team leader, after 4 years, she was trusted by the company's leadership to be the Deputy Head of the Completion Department.

She shared: “Implementing the movement “Good worker, creative worker”, I always research and evaluate to come up with innovative initiatives with high economic value every year. From 2020 to now, every year I have at least 2 innovative initiatives that bring economic value to the Company. In addition, every month I will have at least 1 proposal for the Safety Board to improve the working environment to make the workplace more friendly and safe”. Not only researching to come up with initiatives and solutions, she also shares and propagates to 100% of employees in the team to respond. Each individual in the department sets a goal of having 1 innovative proposal and 1 hazard proposal each year. In recent years, 100% of employees in the department have achieved and exceeded the set goals.

Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet Lan - President of the Trade Union of COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd. said: "Union member Dang Thi Luong is not only a typical example in the movement "Good worker, creative worker" but for many years has also been a typical example of "Good at public work, good at home work". Always completing her tasks well at the Company, at home, she is harmonious and happy, her children are well-educated. She is an example for the sisters in the department to learn and follow. In 2024, 4 union members of the department received certificates of merit from the Trade Union of industrial parks with the title "Good at public work, good at home work". 15 union members received certificates of merit from the Executive Committee of the Company's grassroots Trade Union; 1 union member received a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Labor Federation".

Up to now, both sons have always been taken care of and educated carefully, one of whom has graduated from university and the other is studying at the Agricultural Academy. The work at the Company is busy, but with the support from her husband and family, she still fulfills both roles, being filial to her parents and raising healthy, well-behaved children. At home, the couple also grows rice, raises chickens and pigs to increase income; for many years, her family has been recognized as a cultural family in the residential area.

Ms. Luong always completes her tasks well and has many initiatives and solutions in production.

Ms. Luong shared: “I always try to arrange time to participate in activities at the company. The completion department is one of the core units in the company's sports movement. The union members of the department love sports and actively participate in after-work activities. This is a very good activity that helps the union members of the department have a useful playground to enhance solidarity and teamwork spirit”. As a cadre, she also always grasps the thoughts and aspirations of union members to advise the union executive committee on policies to help union members feel secure in working and producing.

Her efforts have been recognized through many awards such as Certificate of Merit from COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd. for “Excellent achievements in production and labor”; Certificate of creative labor from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. She was honored to be one of 10 individuals awarded the “Dynamic, creative and responsible female union member” award for the first time.
