Ms. Luong "Good at public affairs, good at housework"

The first year the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded the "Dynamic, Creative, Responsible Female Unionist" award, COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd. was honored to have Ms. Dang Thi Luong - Deputy Head of Completion Department as one of 10 individuals to receive the award. This is a worthy award for outstanding individuals in emulation movements, the core of which is the emulation movement "Good at public work, Good at housework"...

Ms. Dang Thi Luong was honored to be one of 10 individuals awarded the "Dynamic, Creative, and Responsible Female Trade Union Member" award by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

With expertise in precision mechanics, over the years, Ms. Luong has consistently strived to improve her professional skills through self-study and training, earning high praise from both the company and her colleagues. Starting as a worker and then promoted to team leader, after four years she was entrusted by the company leadership with the position of Deputy Head of the Completion Department.

She shared: “In implementing the ‘Excellent Worker, Creative Worker’ movement, I always independently research and evaluate to come up with high-value economic improvement initiatives each year. From 2020 to the present, I have had at least two improvement initiatives each year that bring economic value to the company. In addition, each month I submit at least one proposal to the Safety Committee to improve the working environment, making the workplace increasingly friendly and safe.” Not only does she conduct her own research to come up with initiatives and solutions, but she also shares and promotes them to 100% of the employees in her team. Each individual in the department sets a goal of one improvement proposal and one hazard proposal each year. In recent years, 100% of the department's employees have achieved and exceeded their set goals.

Ms. Vu Thi Tuyet Lan, Chairwoman of the Trade Union of COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd., said: “Union member Dang Thi Luong is not only outstanding in the “Excellent Worker, Creative Worker” movement, but for many years she has also been a role model of “Excellent at work, excellent at home.” She always performs her duties well at the company, and at home, she enjoys a harmonious and happy family life with well-behaved children. She is a role model for the women in the department to learn from and emulate. In 2024, four union members from the department received certificates of merit from the Trade Union of Industrial Zones for the title “Excellent at work, excellent at home.” Fifteen union members received certificates of merit from the Company's grassroots Trade Union Executive Committee; and one union member received a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor.”

To date, both sons have been well cared for and educated; one has graduated from university and the other is currently studying at the Agricultural Academy. Despite a busy job at the company, with the support of her husband and family, she has managed to fulfill both roles: being dutiful to her parents and raising healthy, well-behaved children. At home, the couple also grows rice and raises chickens and pigs to supplement their income; for many years, their family has been recognized as a model family in their residential area.

Ms. Luong always performs her duties well and has many initiatives and solutions in production.

Ms. Luong shared: “I always try to arrange my time to participate in company activities. The Completion Department is one of the key units in the company's sports movement. The department's members love sports and actively participate in after-work activities. This is a very good activity that provides the department's members with a beneficial playground, enhancing solidarity and teamwork spirit.” As an officer, she also always understands the thoughts and aspirations of the members to advise the Trade Union Executive Committee on policies that help members feel secure in their work and production.

Her efforts and dedication have been recognized through numerous awards, including a Certificate of Merit from COSMOS1 Technology Co., Ltd. for "Outstanding achievements in labor and production"; and a Creative Labor Award from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. She was also honored to be one of 10 individuals awarded the first "Dynamic, Creative, and Responsible Female Trade Union Member" award.
