The main driving force behind this growth comes from the industrial sector, particularly the manufacturing sector, with the expansion of production by large-scale enterprises and the outstanding contribution of the FDI sector. The production of electronic components has made a positive contribution to growth.

Electronic component manufacturing continues to play a leading role in the industry. By 2025, production is projected to reach 34 million laptops and tablets, a 74.87% increase; revenue from electronic component manufacturing services is expected to reach VND 314.5 trillion, a 38.46% increase. Many large enterprises recorded impressive growth rates, such as BYD: over VND 122 trillion, a growth of over 40%; Compal: over VND 82 trillion, a growth of over 31%; Accton Technology Vietnam: over VND 33 trillion; and Arcadyan: over VND 35 trillion, a growth of over 37%.

Besides electronic components, other key manufacturing sectors continue to maintain positive growth. In 2025, the province estimates the production of 40,600 cars with fewer than 10 seats, reaching 95% of the 2024 target; and 1.66 million motorbikes, reaching 97% of the target for the same period, amidst a shift in market demand towards electric vehicles.

The disbursement of public investment funds – especially in the fourth quarter – was accelerated, creating a crucial impetus for the construction sector. Key projects such as the Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho expressway, the Capital Ring Road, provincial roads, and infrastructure for industrial parks and urban areas were implemented decisively, creating a new look for the inter-regional connectivity system and expanding the industrial and service development space of the entire province.

Following the completion of administrative unit mergers, the actual population represents one of the largest domestic consumer markets in the North. This is a crucial foundation for strong growth in trade, logistics, retail, finance, tourism, and lifestyle services in 2025.

Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue are estimated at over 200 trillion VND, an increase of 14.8%. The modern commercial network continues to expand with 368 markets, 9 shopping centers, 29 supermarkets, and a widespread system of convenience stores, contributing to market stability and preventing abnormal price fluctuations.

Tourism continued to be a highlight as the province welcomed 14.5 million visitors, an 11% increase; revenue reached 14.8 trillion VND. Unique cultural festivals – Hung Kings Commemoration Day, Tay Thien Festival, Muong ethnic group's Spring Festival – continued to be maintained; tourist destinations in the area recorded good growth. Along with the formation and implementation of many tourism projects, new products such as the Cuoi Ha cable car project, Serena Resort... are expected to create strong competitive appeal.

In the social sector, Phu Tho completed a cumulative total of 4,460 social housing units, exceeding the plan by 115%; 3G and 4G coverage reached 99% of the province's area, and 170 5G stations were put into operation in urban and tourist centers. Education and healthcare achieved many positive results; the high school graduation rate reached 99.72%; electronic medical records were implemented in three major hospitals, moving towards a paperless hospital model.

The achievements demonstrate the tremendous efforts of all levels, sectors, localities, and the business community; and at the same time affirm the clear effectiveness of the proactive, flexible, creative, and decisive leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee.

The impressive economic growth in 2025 not only reflects the dynamism of industry and services, but also demonstrates the resilience and determination of the entire political system and the consensus of the people. Phu Tho is gradually asserting its position as a new growth pole in the Northern Midlands and Mountains region, aiming for rapid and sustainable development and improving the quality of life for its people.
