Along with great opportunities come significant challenges in land clearance, organizational structure, and meeting the requirements for rapid and sustainable development of a suburban commune. With a proactive and decisive spirit, the commune's Party committee and government are striving to overcome difficulties, put the Party's resolutions into practice, and create new momentum towards achieving the criteria of a ward by 2030.

Returning to Thinh Minh in mid-December, the area resembled a massive construction site. Along Route 445, many sections were being paved, the Ngoi Moi bridge was completed, and the technical infrastructure was being further upgraded. The water supply system project for the Son Tay - Hoa Lac - Xuan Mai - Mieu Mon - Hanoi - Ha Dong urban chain was being accelerated. Simultaneously, a series of key transportation projects, such as the Quang Tien - Thinh Minh inter-communal road and the Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh inter-communal road (phase 2), were being urgently implemented, with obstacles being addressed to ensure completion according to schedule.
The Quang Tien - Thinh Minh inter-communal road project (phase 1), with a length of 8.13 km and a total investment of 430 billion VND, is one of the province's key projects. The main road in the area has a 26m wide roadbed and a design speed of 60 km/h. Thanks to a systematic approach and persistent dialogue, the commune has handed over 5,872.8 m² of land to the investor; the remaining households have agreed and are ready to hand over the land for the contractor to level, prepare the roadbed, and construct the drainage system. The project aims to be completed before the Lunar New Year 2026, opening up an important connecting axis to promote socio -economic development and creating land for residential areas and concentrated production zones.

Comrade Nguyen Quang Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the commune, affirmed: Land clearance has always been identified as a key task. Each project must thoroughly resolve obstacles at the grassroots level, ensuring the legitimate rights of the people. This spirit has created high consensus, contributing to removing the biggest bottleneck in the local development process.

Currently, seven major projects are being implemented in the commune, covering urban development, industry, and ecotourism – sectors with the potential to generate strong growth. These include large-scale projects such as: the Thinh Minh Industrial Complex; the Thinh Minh Industrial Park; the 10.3-hectare Thinh Minh Industrial Park resettlement area; the Yen Quang Industrial Park and connecting road serving the local population; the project connecting the Tien Tien Industrial Cluster with the Yen Quang Industrial Park; and the Pheo-Che flood control dike project downstream of the Da River (phases 1 and 2).
These projects not only generate stable revenue but also create new growth poles, promoting economic restructuring towards industry and services. The commune is working closely with investors and relevant departments to complete land clearance, build resettlement areas, and especially construct the access road connecting the Hoa Lac - Hoa Binh expressway to the Tien Tien Industrial Cluster - a vital route for logistics and attracting businesses.
A modern, efficient, and transparent administrative system is Thinh Minh's strongest commitment to its people and businesses. Immediately after the merged system came into operation, the commune focused on strengthening its organization, issuing working regulations, assigning specific tasks, and organizing working sessions with specialized departments and each hamlet to understand the situation and resolve difficulties.
The commune's Public Administrative Service Center operates efficiently; 95.90% of online applications are received and processed; 100% of officials receive digital skills training. By 2025, Thinh Minh will have completed 11 out of 12 targets, with many exceeding the requirements: Budget revenue reached 15.7 billion VND, equivalent to 1,751% of the plan. Total investment capital in the commune reached 4,000 billion VND (100% of the plan). The poverty rate decreased to 1.59%, exceeding the target of 16%. Average income reached 83 million VND/person/year. Along with this, the crop structure continues to shift towards high-value economic crops such as green squash, pumpkin, cucumber, aloe vera, etc., creating sustainable livelihoods for the people.
To date, the commune has attracted many large-scale key infrastructure projects, contributing to shaping the new face of the urban area along the Da River. The strong movement of the entire political system - from correct orientation and systematic organizational methods to a spirit of daring to think and act - is helping Thinh Minh to take advantage of development opportunities.
Prioritizing four breakthrough areas: land clearance, administrative reform, infrastructure, and human resources, has created a crucial foundation for the locality to make rapid progress, striving to achieve the goal of becoming Thinh Minh ward by 2030 with strong economic growth; urbanization according to plan; and continuously improving people's lives.
