Positive public opinion orientation
On November 1, Dong Thap Provincial Police held a meeting, connecting nearly 60 KOLs, administrators of pages, channels, and groups on cyberspace and launched the model "Safe and healthy Dong Thap digital space", aiming to build a positive and civilized online environment.

The event connected nearly 60 KOLs and administrators.
According to Dong Thap Provincial Police, along with the strong development of the Internet and social networks, the team of KOLs and administrators of pages, groups, and channels on cyberspace have become an important force in spreading positive information, promoting creativity, and promoting the image and cultural values of the locality.
Many KOLs and administrators in the area have actively coordinated with authorities in propagating the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws, promptly orienting public opinion, refuting fake news and false information, contributing to building a clean and healthy cyberspace.
Provincial police representatives said that KOLs and administrators are not only content creators but also information “gatekeepers”, playing an important role in protecting trust and positive values in the online community.
In addition to active activities, recently, the police force has discovered and handled a number of cases of law violations in cyberspace, such as posting and sharing false and provocative information that affects security and order.
Colonel Nguyen Minh Tan - Deputy Director of Dong Thap Provincial Police said that some KOLs and administrators are still not proactive in controlling, preventing, and removing bad and toxic content, or have not coordinated promptly with authorities when detecting violations. The main reason is that they are not fully equipped with legal knowledge, digital communication skills, and codes of conduct in the online environment.
From that reality, this conference is considered an opportunity to strengthen connections, share experiences, raise legal awareness and social responsibility of KOLs and administrators, contributing to strengthening the province's digital media platform.
Building a secure network environment
The highlight of the conference was the launching ceremony of the model "Safe and healthy Dong Thap digital space", initiated and implemented by Dong Thap Provincial Police.
This is an information channel directly connecting the Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention forces with KOLs and administrators in the area, to exchange information, provide early warnings, and coordinate the quick handling of issues related to security and order in cyberspace.

The model aims to improve the skills of identifying and filtering information, increasing vigilance and the ability to "resist" the plots and activities of hostile forces and cybercriminals. At the same time, creating a favorable environment for KOLs and administrators to spread positive messages, build a civilized, humane and sustainable online community.
At the conference, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Dong Thap disseminated and popularized the Party and State's regulations on cyber security protection, codes of conduct and responsibilities of KOLs and administrators in orienting public opinion.
Delegates, KOLs and administrators exchanged and shared experiences in creating positive content, safe website management skills, and agreed to strengthen coordination with the police force in detecting, preventing and handling bad and toxic information.
The conference is considered an important step in connecting the authorities and the digital content creation community, towards the common goal of building a "safe and healthy Dong Thap digital space", contributing to ensuring security, order and sustainable development of the digital society in the locality.
