As a pilot unit of the 50 Campaign in 2025, the Can Tho City Military Command comprehensively implemented the 4 goals of the Campaign close to the task situation, achieving many positive results.

Notably, mobilizing investment resources to upgrade and repair technical facilities worth 4.3 billion VND, an increase of more than 3 billion VND compared to 2024; performing well the inspection work, maintaining the order of military warehouses meeting the standards of 5 contents; maintaining the technical coefficient for combat readiness, rescue and relief tasks. Focusing on measures to ensure information security, network security and strengthening education , propaganda and dissemination of laws on traffic safety.

Speaking at the conference, Major General Nguyen Van Tien, Deputy Commander of Military Region 9, acknowledged the achievements; at the same time, requested the City Military Command to continue to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement resolutions, directives and instructions related to the 50 Campaign; regularly inspect the compliance with regulations in the management and use of weapons and technical equipment; research and synchronously deploy measures to maintain the features of weapons and equipment in the establishment, in conjunction with promoting research and application of science, technology, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, etc., contributing to improving the effectiveness of technical assurance and successfully completing military and defense tasks.

On this occasion, the Can Tho City Military Command launched the emulation movement of the Army logistics sector following Uncle Ho's teachings and the 50th Movement in the city's armed forces, with the theme: "Solidarity, proactiveness, innovation, creativity, emulation to excellently complete tasks in 2026".
