Boat traffic on the Maspéro River is temporarily suspended to serve the Ngo boat race.

On November 4 and 5, all boats and ships crossing the Maspéro River will be temporarily stopped to serve the 2025 Can Tho City Ngo boat race.

On October 28, the Department of Construction of Can Tho City announced the temporary suspension of boats and ships on the Maspéro River due to the Ngo boat race.

Accordingly, starting from 11:30 a.m. on November 4 and until the end of the competition on November 5, all boats and ships passing through the Maspéro River, from the Dinh River junction to Maspéro Bridge, will be temporarily stopped.

At the area where the Ooc Om Boc Festival - Ngo Boat Racing takes place, there are functional forces to regulate and guide traffic. Therefore, when passing through the above mentioned area, boats must strictly follow the instructions of the force participating in traffic regulation.

Ooc Om Boc Festival - Ngo Boat Race in Can Tho City 2025 takes place from November 3 to 5, with many activities, the highlight being the Ngo boat race on the Maspéro river.

This year, 60 male and female Ngo boat teams from within and outside the city are expected to compete. During the two days of the race, tens of thousands of people gathered on both sides of the river to cheer on the boat teams, creating a bustling atmosphere.
