On November 1, Sacombank Gold and Gemstone Company (SBJ) listed the buying price of silver bars at 1.881 million VND/tael and the selling price at 1.929 million VND/tael, down 6,000 VND per tael compared to yesterday.
Phu Quy Group traded silver at 1,864 million VND/tael, sold at 1,922 million VND/tael, down 24,000 VND/tael.
Other brands such as Ancarat and Golden Fun trade silver in the range of 1,914 - 1,92 million VND/tael (selling price).
In the international market, silver price today closed the weekend session at 48.6 USD/ounce, down 0.49% compared to the previous session.

Silver prices have fluctuated strongly in recent days.
If calculated from the peak of 54.4 USD/ounce, silver price has decreased about 12% but still increased about 68% - becoming one of the investment channels with very high profitability.
Factors that are helping silver prices rise, according to experts, are high investment and industrial demand such as renewable energy and semiconductor production, helping the metal play a dual role.
However, in its latest forecast for commodity markets, the World Bank (WB) said that the average silver price in 2026 will be only about $41/ounce – much lower than the current price. WB even forecasts that silver prices will continue to decline in 2027 – ending the strong price increase streak over the past period, when they fall deeply to $37/ounce.
Currently, the world silver price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 1.54 million VND/tael.
A notable development, according to a reporter from Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper, is that the "silver fever" is cooling down as people no longer have to line up to buy silver or wait for long transactions at the counter like before at some silver companies.
"When the silver price peaked at over VND2.14 million/tael, many people lined up from early morning to wait to buy. But now, the number of customers has decreased a lot" - said an employee of a silver company in Ho Chi Minh City.
