HueWACO provides mobile water supply to people in heavily flooded areas.

In Khe Tre commune (formerly Nam Dong district), approximately 400 households in K4, Thanh An, Phu Mau, and Phu Hoa villages were isolated during the heavy rains and floods at the end of October 2025. Besides providing food and helping residents clean up their homes, the local authorities coordinated with HueWACO to supply drinking water by tanker trucks to households in isolated areas with difficult access.

For several days now, residents of Ka Tu village (Khe Tre commune) have been provided with sufficient water for daily use, despite difficult transportation infrastructure. HueWACO has transported water in mobile containers to collection points, making it easy for residents to carry it home for use day and night. According to statistics, approximately 380 households in Nam Dong and Khe Tre communes have received free water during the recent floods.

According to HueWACO, with the motto "Wherever the water recedes, we will fix the problem," the unit has coordinated with communes and wards to deploy mobile teams, making efforts to access factories, pumping stations, and pipelines to quickly resolve any incidents and ensure stable and safe water supply for the people.

The company deployed booster pumps and operated backup generators to restore the affected infrastructure and focused on checking water quality, flushing the network, and disinfecting the entire system to ensure the water meets safety and hygiene standards.

In addition, HueWACO also increased the production of bottled drinking water, coordinating with the Hue City Military Command and several wards and communes in the area to promptly distribute more than 2,000 cases of Bach Ma and I-On Health water (equivalent to 50,000 500ml bottles); the City Border Guard Command provided 500 cases to households in areas that were deeply flooded and isolated, ensuring people had access to safe drinking water during the rainy season.
