In Nghi Duong commune, concentrated commodity production areas have been formed with 28 land accumulation models, total area of ​​274.45 hectares, 100% mechanized.

According to the People's Committee of Nghi Duong commune, in the 2025 crop season, the entire commune will plant 755 hectares of rice, of which 65.56% of the total area will be high-quality rice varieties such as Dai Thom 8, Bac Thinh, ST25, Ngoc Nuong... The expected rice yield is 58 quintals/hectare, equivalent to the plan.

The rate of mechanization continued to increase sharply, with machine-planted areas reaching 63.58%, helping to reduce costs and improve production efficiency. Pest and disease forecasting and control measures were implemented decisively and synchronously; areas infected with harmful organisms were detected and treated promptly, preventing major damage.

Within the commune, a concentrated commodity production area has been established with 28 land consolidation models, totaling 274.45 hectares, with 100% mechanization. The entire commune has also completed planting 58 hectares of summer-autumn vegetables, achieving 100% of the plan.

For the spring crop of 2026, Nghi Duong commune will continue to develop large-scale model fields, promote mechanization, and effectively utilize land consolidation and concentration models, linking production and consumption along the value chain. The locality proposes that the city continue to support mechanisms and funding for rodent control, irrigation, and investment in infrastructure for large-scale production areas to maintain productivity, improve the quality of agricultural products, and develop sustainable production.
