Vietnamese cinema market aims for 1,000 cinema complexes

That is the information shared by Mr. Truong Xuan Bach, Project Development Director of Beta Group, at the discussion session with the topic "Sustainable investment in Beta cinema franchise", on October 17.

Mr. Truong Xuan Bach said that by the end of 2024, the Vietnamese cinema market will have 212 cinema complexes. In 2024, the entire market will attract 54 million visitors, a sharp increase compared to 34 million visitors in 2022.

According to Mr. Bach, experts believe that the cinema and film market is an "attractive piece of cake" attracting investors to develop professionally, improve the quality of cinemas and cover all provinces and cities in the coming time.

In particular, by 2035, the growth rate is expected to reach 1,000 cinema complexes with more than 100 million visitors/year.

At the meeting with investors, market experts, partners, and startup consultants, Beta Group introduced the first cinema franchise model in Vietnam.
