Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Thai Thu Xuong, said the purpose of the conference is to gather the intelligence, enthusiasm and genuine voices of cadres, union members and workers - those who directly produce and contribute to the country's development.
According to Ms. Thai Thu Xuong, this extensive consultation clearly demonstrates the motto "People know - People discuss - People do - People check - People supervise - People benefit", and is proof of the close relationship between the Party and the people, between the Party and the working class and the Vietnam Trade Union.

Speaking at the conference, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation Nguyen Kim Loan expressed her concern about social security policies, especially in the fields of education and social housing. According to her, these are issues that have a direct impact on the lives of workers.
The draft document stated that the quality of education and training, especially education on qualities, personality and career, is still improving slowly. However, what worries her is that at each level of education, each level of education, it is necessary to clearly identify which subjects are basic and which subjects are foundational, in order to provide more specific directions for education.

From her experience in contacting voters and workers at the grassroots level, Ms. Loan said that many workers, especially migrant workers, often expressed concerns about their children's education. According to Ms. Loan, workers have low incomes and many difficulties in life, so they are very interested in their children's education programs, especially practical subjects that help children develop comprehensively and have job opportunities in the future.
Ms. Loan also said that many workers' children studying at schools near industrial zones do not have the conditions to pay additional tuition fees, so they have little opportunity to participate in life skills or soft skills classes. Meanwhile, children of well-off families have the conditions to take extra classes and access many personal development skills.

Ms. Loan expressed concern about this gap. “Unintentionally, society will form two trends of students: a group with conditions to develop comprehensive skills and the remaining group – mainly workers’ children – who do not have the opportunity to access. This can lead to a difference in skills, affecting the equal development of future generations.”
In addition to the issue of education, Ms. Loan also said that the Party and State need to create conditions for workers to be trained and fostered in expertise, profession, political theory and skills to adapt to digital transformation in the new context when digital transformation, technology application and artificial intelligence are increasingly expanded.
Also concerned about the issue of training for workers, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor Phan Thanh Liem suggested that it is necessary to build a system of universities and vocational colleges with world- class standards to train the qualifications and skills of workers and laborers. In addition, creating conditions for trade unions and laborers to participate more and more in social governance.

At the conference, delegates also proposed that the Document should harmonize the interests between employers and employees; building a team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs must be associated with solutions to build the Vietnamese working class; building harmonious, progressive, and humane labor relations in enterprises...
