Maximum support of 1.5 billion VND for leasing costs of science and technology infrastructure assets

The maximum level of financial support for direct leasing of scientific and technological infrastructure assets without auction for operation is 150 million VND for individuals, and up to 1.5 billion VND for organizations.

Delegates of the 16th City People's Council pressed the button to pass the Resolution at the 30th session.

At the recent 30th session, the 16th City People's Council passed a Resolution on regulations on content, support level, support period, criteria and subjects receiving support for direct leasing of science and technology infrastructure assets without auction for operation.

The Resolution is effective until October 26, 2030.

The support level for individuals is equal to 100% of the cost of leasing scientific and technological infrastructure assets. The total support cost does not exceed 50 million VND/year/individual. The support period does not exceed 3 years from the effective date of the asset lease contract.

For organizations, the support level is equal to 80% of the cost of leasing scientific and technological infrastructure assets. The total support cost does not exceed 300 million VND/year/organization. The support period does not exceed 5 years from the effective date of the asset lease contract.

Beneficiaries of this policy are domestic and foreign organizations and individuals implementing creative start-up projects or innovation projects; having activities to support creative start-ups and innovation in Hai Phong city.

Supported cases must meet all conditions and criteria clearly specified in the resolution.
