More than 200 officials and civil servants from communes and wards in the West of Hai Phong participated in the training course "Application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and automation in state agencies"

On the morning of October 28, at the Hall of the People's Committee of Hai Duong Ward, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Hai Phong organized training course No. 03 in the series of programs "Application of artificial intelligence (AI), automation in state agencies" for more than 200 cadres, civil servants and public employees working in the communes and wards in the West of Hai Phong city.

Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Pham Huy Thang delivered the opening speech of the training course.

Speaking at the training course, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology Pham Huy Thang emphasized: training and coaching to apply smart technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) in the operations of state agencies to contribute to innovating working methods, optimizing work processes, reducing manual administrative workload, and improving efficiency in serving people and businesses. AI is not a distant concept, but is clearly present in every administrative task today - from managing records, coordinating work schedules, automatically responding to citizens via chatbots, to supporting decision-making based on big data analysis"

This training course is organized to equip the staff, civil servants and public employees in the western part of the city with practical knowledge and skills on applying AI in public administration activities. The program content is designed to combine theory and practice. The first part of the class introduces an overview of AI and automation trends in public administration, helping students understand the role, potential and changes that AI brings to management and serving the people. In the next part, students are guided in the skills of using popular AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Notion, Gamma... to practice applying them in daily work: drafting documents, making reports, managing work and supporting decision making.

In addition, the program also spends a significant amount of time analyzing ethical, legal and data security issues in the application of AI, helping officials and civil servants use technology safely, in accordance with regulations and responsibly.

With a practical approach, the class took place in a lively and open atmosphere, contributing to raising awareness and capacity to apply digital technology for the team of cadres and civil servants to proactively adapt to the digital transformation trend in management, operation and public service implementation, towards building a professional, modern and people-friendly administration./.
