HDBank joins hands with the Government to support people in flood-affected areas

(Chinhphu.vn) - On the evening of November 3, at the closing ceremony of the 2025 Autumn Fair at the National Exhibition Fair Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi), HDBank donated 10 billion VND to support people in the northern and central mountainous regions who were severely affected by storms and floods.

The program was launched by the Prime Minister , calling on businesses and the whole society to share the difficulties with people in disaster areas. From the very beginning, the fundraising activity received a strong response and continued to spread the spirit of charity in the closing night, which was broadcast live on VTV1.

Social security has always been a focus in HDBank's sustainable development strategy - not only accompanying customers in economic development, but also standing side by side with the Government in community programs.

Previously, HDBank actively participated in the program "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" - a humanitarian initiative launched by the Government, aiming at the goal of "no more poor households living in temporary houses by 2030". After only two years of implementation, the program was completed 5 years early, with more than 334,000 newly built or repaired houses, with a total mobilized value of nearly 25,000 billion VND and millions of working days of social labor.

Of which, HDBank and its strategic partners have contributed nearly 2,600 houses, helping thousands of poor households and policy families have solid and safe housing. In recognition of this effort, in August 2025, the Prime Minister awarded a Certificate of Merit to HDBank for its outstanding contributions to social security and community development.

Not only stopping at housing support, HDBank also implements many other meaningful programs such as free eye surgery for the poor, building rural bridges, sponsoring education and healthcare in remote areas. These sustainable activities have become part of the identity of HDBank - where business values ​​are always associated with human values.
